We used to visit this location all the time under previous owners and the new owners have not skipped a beat. Great same quality and large portions. The owners have a passion for Autism and we appreciate that as well.

The second I inhaled in here I knew it would be good. The staff is friendly and has rapport with their regulars. I had the cheeseburger with mustard, the onion rings, and the pecan pie.Onion rings have a very "neat" bite, as in the onion severs nicely and doesn't pull out of the batter. The onion flavor is nice and fresh. They are crispy and not overly greasy.Searching for burgers is what brought me here, so I ordered the cheeseburger with tomato, pickle, lettuce, and mustard, and it stayed fluffy and held its structure while I ate it. Delicious.I had the pecan pie cold. Very rich, very noticable vanilla in the filling, very satisfying way to end the meal before getting back on the road. Get some coffee with this.I went a little out of my way while passing through to eat here. If you get the opportunity I strongly recommend that you do the same!

Thursday was a nice adventure. After I took Rick Hannah to the dentist, he really wanted a good hamburger, so I searched Google. We like the reviews for Wes's Buger Shack owned by Wes Teeters. It was a wonderful lunch, great burger, and onion rings. One of the things I really liked was that there was not much salt added, which would be an awesome place for my mother to eat because of her sodium restrictions due to her kidneys. This way, the individual can add as much or as little as needed. Fantastic customer service!! I took a picture, and my bun was flopping open, but it had just the right amount of veggies to accompany the great tasting meat and cheese. So if you are looking for a great burger and are in Temple, Texas, then look them up, you will be glad you did!
