The new Chinese menu on Saturdays rocks! Finally, the one food we all want and can't get without a 200 plus mile round trip. It's actually quite good and priced fairly. Their ice cream is pretty good too.

We came here a few times during our visit for lunch and breakfast. The service we got each time was great, and it’s a nice spot to relax from outings and grab a quick meal or cold drink. Their breakfast really hit the spot both days (their pancakes are fairly large by the way but very tasty). Highly recommend this place.

This is my personal opinion and review of the RV Park5 vs 10 vs 25?!After careful consideration, I would like to bring to you several concerning issues regarding this RV Campground that may impact your stay and overall experience as it has ours. For years previous, this camp ground has been a part of the adventure and has been an overall pleasurable experience. This year, however, the stay has been unsatisfactory to say the least. The campground has displayed a pattern cleanliness and organization issues, potential trip hazards and inconvenience. Employees have been exhibiting rude behavior towards patrons, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere.Furthermore, the campground may not be suitable for dual sport bike enthusiasts due to safety concerns. Despite the need for lower speeds in certain areas, there have been employees overreacting to reasonable bike speeds, (8-11mph) causing unnecessary confrontations. Bear in mind the employees drive by blasting derogatory rap music (I recorded this) and driving well over the 5mph limit and when confronted, the response is “well I don’t have to” and “I’m allowed to go faster because I’m working.” “We don’t have a way to check speed, it’s based on the dust your tires put up.”In one particular incident, inaccurate complaints were made regarding bike speed, leading to unfounded accusations and gross mismanagement.Even though my GoPro and my bike computer was able to prove I wasn’t going more than 11mph at all during the time it was on it fell on deaf ears as the guy who lied and said he was THE MANAGER shouted at me for doing “over 25”.The ACTUAL general manager finally came up and seemed that she was trying to calm things down, it was overshadowed by the overgrown man child that was with her, not identified as having any role of authority, who did more to contribute to the problem rather than find a solution. They tried to say there were 6 complaints of my orange dual sport bike that day. But my bike hadn’t even been on site for the entire day and when it was (about 20 minutes before the incident) it went directly from the road to the rv spot on the empty side of the property and can prove I didn’t speed. Embellishment of non existent incidents shows character of the staff and establishment. The miscommunication and lack of desire for understanding demonstrated by the campground staff highlight a deeply concerning lack of professionalism and customer service.Additionally, the maintenance and safety of the RV site itself have been called into question. The substandard quality of the RV step landings poses a risk of injury to guests, with unstable and hazardous conditions. Furthermore, the inconsistent availability and cleanliness of the restroom facilities reflect a lack of attention to essential amenities for guests’ comfort and convenience.Considering these valid concerns and the importance of providing a safe and welcoming environment for all guests, I advise caution when planning your stay at this RV Campground. It’s my personal opinion that you should seek out one of the MANY different campground options nearby that could ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all.We will not be returning and our large group will do the same.… All of this over a 5/10 mph argument dirtbike and an overzealous maintenance man on a power trip. With SOOO much growth in Terlingua I can’t see this park making it with an attitude like this.

Asked the office to please move a picnic table to our RV site which did not have one, as my partner was not able to help carry one from another site, and was told they would, but then dissed me, never sent anyone to help move one. Wifi is non-existent outside of lobby. Bathrooms and showers were marginally OK. Lots of dust in the air when vehicles drive by. For the price for a RV site, could have been considerably better.

Big Bend is AWESOME!!! This motel IS NOT!!! There are many things wrong with this property - I will go into detail on one of them. You will not have hot water often (or any pressure to push hot water into the shower head), and you will have times when there is no water at all. You will also not get an honest answer from the front desk either by telephone or in person, as to the status of potentially, sometimes, having water. Our stay went like this: Day 1 Wanted to shower after long drive - office said no hot water, took an ice-cold February shower. Day 2 Woke up to no water at all - office said would be repaired by our evening return - it wasn't. Afternoon clerk said the message was never given to the repair folks. Day 3 after another trip to the office, learned that nothing had been done and the repair folks were not notified - bright spot in the journey, the repair folks were quick once notified and went to work. We had hot water for a short time (able to take a warm shower - the only warm shower of the trip). When we returned in the evening, no water at all. Day 4 Woke up to still no water. Even though we had paid for one more day, we checked out and left. Strongly recommend that you do not stay here.

A nice spot for food and gas before entering BBNP. I really enjoyed the stickers covering the gas pumps.

Great little breakfast joint attached to the gas station. It’s open 365 days a year, including Mondays, so don’t believe the Google hours. Awesome menu!

Shame on your staff member for having a massive ego.My wife and friends wait 45 minutes for food to find out their order had been forgotten. Out of the kindness of our hearts we are accepting of it and the waiter says he’ll rush the order. My wife, thoroughly exhausted, swore as the waiter walked away. Not at the waiter, just frustrated in general. Which you should be after waiting almost an hour for food with no updates. Then we get kicked out by the waiter who is clearly a hot head. So yeah, not dealing with that and happy to walk out.Coffee was mediocre.

We had an awesome breakfast this morning off their new menu! The cream cheese stuffed French Toast was simple and delish! The bacon scramble was a generously sized portion and excellent flavor for a hungry hiker! The "gas station diner" atmosphere is actually charming and authentic. The service was honest and friendly and faster than promised. We will come again!
