“This lil' place had the yummiest pizza. Got the Six Shooter & it was delicious. Our server was very friendly, attentive & gave great service. Highly recommend to give it a try if in the Terlingua area.”
“The best coffee shop ever. Coffee served was smooth, and their iced drinks were on point. Tamales, tacos and breakfast burritos are some of the best I’ve had. What is really great about this place are the views. Used their fast WiFi to work for 2 hours and enjoyed the cool wind coming across the desert. Extremely peaceful. 10 min wait for breakfast but their cook team is fast.”
“I thought this restaurant was especially well run given the crush of people wanting to get in. They don’t take reservations but they handle it very well. At exactly 5:00 (opening time) they started letting people in a table at time. They do this in a very controlled manner so the kitchen and wait staff are not overwhelmed and the room never feels over crowded. This is a commitment to a quality experience I truly respect. The down side is it’s not easy to get in. Best to be there early and be near the front of the line. Otherwise it could be a long wait. But once you are in it’s totally chill. Great service and a very reasonably priced menu for the quality of the experience especially considering where you are.My brisket was perfect (Texas style slow cooked without sauce) with a very tasty sauce on the side. The sides were some very tasty Texas style beans and some of the best potato salad ever (creamy egg sauce with plenty of dill). And I can’t say enough about my margarita.I’m sorry to disagree with so many but this was not a mediocre experience. It may not be the Ritz but it’s unique, special, and very affordable.”
“Great hot beverage options, even for tea drinkers. I didn’t think the food choices were great, which was a bummer. The bagel seemed like it was from a grocery store and it was just package oatmeal. The kolaches were pretty good. Overall, I was mostly happy that we could get good coffee and tea.”
“LOVE this place. Greg is an amazing owner/host who makes sure everyone has an exceptional time. The live music was always amazing and even hosted some legends. Lost my phone at one point and the whole bar and staff got involved in the search. Shout out to the bar tenders who are rad! Christine was amazing and getting to hang with local Ron was a treasure. Make this your watering hole. Thank you Greg for a tremendous time!”
“If you’re in Terlingua for a visit, this really is a must-stop visit. Managed to come here twice on our trip and weren’t disappointed. Service is great and the bar itself is really cool. Everyone is very friendly and I recommend trying their Tequila Cave-aid, especially after a day being in the desert heat. Highly recommend this spot for just drinks or dinner.”
“The Bad Rabbit is fairly basic as a cafe, but being in the middle of nowhere, even in its simplicity, it is truly a great place. The burgers are good, the beer is cold and they hand batter their chicken fried steaks. The people who work there are friendly and the place is clean and tidy. Unless you're already staying at Terlingua Ranch, the Bad Rabbit is a long way from anywhere. Sometimes, they have live music or other events, so consider the drive but be sure to top off your tank before you head out.”
“We had the beef fajita quesadilla, chicken flautas, and chicken tacos. Everything was great! Meal came with entree, small salad, rice, beans, and some of the best salsa we have ever had. Highly recommend! Food truck sits behind office for RV park across from Cottonwood grocery store. There is a sign viewable from the road.”
“Visited on 032224. Great restaurant! Service was awesome and food was delicioso! I had the Mexican plate and guacamole and chips. Our server was quick and helpful and had an awesome attitude! I highly recommend!!”
“Great atmosphere, tasty tacos, salsas and guac.Loved the Mexican street corn. BYOB! The service was excellent even as busy as they were during spring break week!”
“Stopped here for a beer after some off roading adventures. Really great chips and guac and the server was super friendly. Would definitely stop by again next time I visit!”
“We went after a day in the Park. Really was craving a simple sandwich (club), but unfortunately being hours away from anything and running out of items isn't an easy fix. We ended up getting a burger (HUGE) and a philly wrap. Food was adequate, staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved the amount of seating.”
“Place was amazing. We had a group of 30 and they made us feel welcome all weekend. The one thing I would like to see is a new drink from Marianna called the Marianna Trench. Gotta add that to the drink menu. Killed it all night for our group! Can’t wait to come back here!”
“We had an awesome breakfast this morning off their new menu! The cream cheese stuffed French Toast was simple and delish! The bacon scramble was a generously sized portion and excellent flavor for a hungry hiker! The "gas station diner" atmosphere is actually charming and authentic. The service was honest and friendly and faster than promised. We will come again!”
“Great brisket, creamy potato salad, and hearty beans…all delicious! Friendly service. Can sit in the covered patio or inside. See the pic of the view. Great music playlist.”
“Wow! The best tacos I’ve ever had! Please stop by this place if you’re passing through. Am definitely going to grab a to go order on my way back up to Austin?”
