Great experience. Friendly service, and food was exceptional. We got a wedge salad which was amazing and split a cave burger, which was also amazing. They split the burger meal and served us on 2 plates, which was so sweet. Often when we split, they give us an extra plate and we split the meal at the table. But them doing it ahead was such an extra measure of goodness on their part; such a treat and so thankful.

Drinks were great and I can’t decide if the inside or patio is more awesome

Neat resturant looks to be partly buried. Cave like enterance. I had the catfish, wife had a burger. Both were very good. Service was fast and friendly. Will go back next time in Trelingua.Parking: Large gravel parking lot, of course everything around here is gravel.

Arrived at Big Bend and felt like I was on Mars. Middle of nowhere but amazing beauty. Checked yelp and saw La Kiva. 3.6 stars? I had low expectations given how remote we are and the reviews. Bruh the food and drinks were absolutely fantastic. I swear these pissed off tourists show up and drop bad reviews for the worst reasons. Everyone was super nice. Fantastic environment. Great food. Great drinks. 5 stars.

We had an amazing experience at La Kiva. We had the aloha chicken sandwich and the special (Blackened Redfish with a cajun cream sauce over mashes potatoes. Both were excellent! Chicken was moist and redfish exceeded our expectations. The prices were reasonable and service was great. Very cool atmosphere; pictures don't do it justice.

We came here when we couldn’t didn’t want to wait the hour at the Starlight. We went early dinner time and there was no wait. The food wasn’t great. It’s bar food…cooked from frozen, not a wide selection, but it worked in a pinch. Service was ok, but not super attentive.Vegetarian options: Not a place for vegetariansKid-friendliness: It was a bar atmosphere, but also welcoming of families and kids.

First time here! Atmosphere is a must see as it provides a very quaint and friendly setting. Food was good. I had redfish over mashed potatoes with Cajun cream sauce and mixed vegetables. The vegetables were cooked to mush but the redfish was good and cooked well. My husband ordered blackened chicken over mashed potatoes with Cajun cream sauce. Both were good but not spectacular. The bar area is great for sitting and enjoying friends. We would definitely come back!

This was such a good place to eat after a long day, the food was great and the service was even better. It's so cool that it is in a cave, so unique. Wish I lived closer so I could come here more often!

We just had a wonderful dinner of blackened red fish at LA Kiva Bar and Grill here in Terlingua about a mile from our campground! Great service too! Plus a dinosaur and a large metal scorpion!
