Chicken quesadilla was alright and warm, other dishes not as good. A friend tried to order guacamole and was refused? Service was 0 stars, an old woman employee was incredibly rude and tried to lock us in the restaurant as well as threatened to not split the check if we didn't rush out of the restaurant after finishing most, but not all, of our food. She physically put her hands on someone to stop them from leaving and locked the door, with the excuse that "she didn't want to let anyone else enter the restaurant because they were full". The atmosphere was ruined due to aforementioned harassment.

No alcohol is allowed for religious reasons (seventh day Adventist). We came here specifically to compare the stacked cheese enchiladas with red sauce with those at Rio Bravo on Wheels (which closes at 7:00 pm), and Rio Bravo’s were so much better. Other things were good: the chips, salsa, horchata, rice and beans. The waiter was an extremely young man who needed a long time to understand our straightforward order, and then didn’t get it right anyway. He seemed to speak English well so I don’t think language was the issue. Bottom line is that Rio Bravo around the corner is much better and you can bring in alcohol.

We received recommendations from a few folks in town. The food and service were excellent. The Tacos De Alambre was exceptional. The Mexican Plate is also good.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the food was really good. Being from Houston, I'm not a huge fan of Tex-Mex, so it was a surprise to have such quality food and flavor. But then again, being at a border town, I should not be surprised.

Excellent, authentic Mexican food. The Nacho Supreme was great. The owner was friendly and had a great sense of humor. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

This place was highly recommended by a few people in town however, after visiting this restaurant, we won’t be coming back and I would not recommend it to others. As soon as we walked in, we waited to be seated. There was a waitress and the lady that owns the restaurant walking around waiting on other customers. They saw us walk in and looked us up and down and after a few minutes, the owner walked up to us and asked how many people , it was my daughter and my husband and I. She proceeded to take us to a table which was right beside the kitchen and the very busy area where The workers would be coming in and out of. I expressed that I did not want to sit there because of that and she immediately got an attitude she walked us over to another table nearby, which was very small. I asked if we could sit at another table that was a lot longer, but she told me no that was for bigger larger parties. This is a small town and they’re not many people that would be coming in with larger parties, so she did not let us sit there. After she sat us down at the table that I did not want and she walked away. No one came to ask us for our order or for drinks while we waited. I was really bothered by the attitude that the owner had and thought to myself what horrible customer service we sat there for a while and no one came up to get us drinks so after talking with my husband and my daughter, we decided to leave You’re in the restaurant business, which is not only a place that you tend to others, but your attitude and the way you represent yourself is very important. This lady was extremely rude and ruined my whole afternoon just with her attitude so if you like rude customer service and people that get an attitude when you asked to move to another table, be my guest, but we won’t be coming back
