5S Rock Bar & Grill at Film Alley Terrell

My family loves this place, my son enjoys the bottomless popcorn and my daughter the cheese pizza

This past weekend we had our company Christmas/ New Year’s party at Film Alley in Terrell. We rented out the bowling alleys and the party room. It was a great time! The party room was already nicely set up, decorated and ready to go when we got there. That was greatly appreciated. Our party host, Tanner and his co host whose name I do not remember (sweet, gorgeous girl with brown hair) were amazing. Not only were they great at their job, but they were so kind and a joy to be around. They provided A+ service with a smile. I think we will be repeat customers!

I dont know what's in their hamburger patties. That's all I ate. Made me extremely sick. Will never eat there again! What's in that meat? Why is it so mushy soft too?

Be ready to wait with cero people in the restaurant and like 10 employees

This place is awful there was maybe 3 tables and 5 employees and no one wanted to approach our table to take our order. We had to get up and ask for water. They never brought a menu. I had to go ask for one. And let me just saw we waited literally 15 minutes before saying anything because we noticed a weird vibe when we walked in. Dirty tables. No on acknowledged us until one girl who FINALLY came to take our order was visibly irritated by having to talk to me and told me they didn't have gluten free anything and she had no idea and no one has ever ordered that. I said it says it here and here on your menu. Have you worked here very long? No? Can you go ask someone? She left and never came back. Like just stood there at the bar hoping I'd go away. We did.

Watch your card totals! Most of the time I let the kids just play but the two times I was with them, games took $1 more than they said they charged. Which tells me the business is skimming money off the cards. I only watched twice and it happened both times. That’s just shameful taking money from kids and families. Two of us also got really sick, probably food poisoning from the wraps that had slaw and ranch.

We enjoyed our visit after a few rounds of bowling. The food was pretty good, but I had some issues. First, while our steaks were likely 16 oz, they were broad but thin. This makes steaks tougher and more difficult to get the correct temp. We ordered our steaks medium rare, but they were medium, bordering medium well. We don't believe in wasting food or time, so sending them back wasn't an option. Second, our server, while very sweet, was absent. There were a total of 5 tables sat, and it took an awfully long time to even submit our drink order. Then she put our table number in wrong, so all of our food kept being delivered to the next table - bless them for being honest and pretty cool. Like I said, we really did enjoy our visit, but there were WAY too many employees just standing at the bar (managers included) for service to be as slow as it was. I'm only posting this to give management an opportunity to address breakdowns in service, which can easily be remedied.

As far as movie places go, it's alright if you like having the wait staff constantly walking around, back&forth in front of the screen, talking, distracting from the movie you overpaid to see.

I have had a good experience Almost every time I’ve visited and I have been to this theater at least 20 times in the past year, but I honestly don’t mind waiting 10 minutes for someone to assist me. The wings are amazing and they give you so many for the price two people can eat off of one wing platter!

I didn’t get a chance to eat at 5S rock, bar and Grill but I did get to go to the theater at film Alley. The movie was excellent. The name of the movie was. Beehives. The popcorn was good but a little salty the service was good atmosphere was good I would recommend to visit everything they have to offer at Film Alley, Terrell.

Waited for over an hour and 30 minutes for half of our food while the other half of our party had already finished. Terrible service, waitress did not even come check on us until we brought it to her attention. We probably still would’ve been without food if we wouldn’t have said anything.

Terrible service in the restaurant! It took them almost 10 minutes to even greet me. ..I ordered an iced tea. Waitress did not return for my order so I went looking for her to order... but then I decided the wait for food will most likely be way too long. So I asked to just get my tea to go. Apparently they don't have any go cups. ? that's odd... They charge $5.14 for one iced tea and you can't take it to go...?Bad service, high prices, loud crazy music... I'm going to skip this restaurant from now on. Too bad... it could really be a great place!

I believe they don't care for the bar -restaurant they take forever to take our order. After that they start bringing food 1 item at the time 1st get here at 11 minutes other 3 items take 19 minutes to be brought to the table and for the big final they forget my last item so at this point I'm 28 minutes without food great.

Waited 10 minutes at the hostess stand for some girl to come rushing by and say "uhh you can just sit wherever" and look at us like we were the weird ones for waiting there.Sat down and that same girl seemed to be the only waitress. A table near us got fed up from waiting and flagged down some other girl who was cleaning the tables and she was confused and said she wasn't a waitress. The other table finally got their orders taken and the waitress left the room entirely. After 15 minutes at our table without so much as receiving a menu we got up and ended up having fast food because we wasted so much time at this place before our movie. As far as whether the food is good.. someone let me know if you ever get to try it.
