Our family stopped in and put in a large order and it didn't take long for them to put it all together. We got the sliced Brisket, Jalapeño Sausage, Ribs, Potato salad, Green beans, Fried Okra, Macaroni & Cheese and Pea salad. It was all tasted good except the Pea Salad was very bland and the Green beans were too Salty. They asked if we wanted pickles and onions but then they didn't put them in the bags. The BBQ sauce was good and not spicy which was a good thing. Overall our family enjoyed the food and I would get it again.

I stopped into chicory Roots while traveling through Texas and Kansas say honestly that the food was fantastic. It was homemade the sandwich was excellent with a role that was very unique, soft, and mouth watering while the BBQ pork was robust and supple! The BBQ sauce appeared to be homemade and really good. You could tell that the small staff really cared about the quality of their food as the entire time I was there they were working away in the kitchen. Don't be scared by the exterior as the interior was very comfortable and warm (for a BBQ place).

I absolutely love Hickory Roots! They always have the best salad bar, but today I decided to order online and go through the drive thru. The chicken was amazing and full of flavor. The green beans were also very tasty, seasoned just right and cooked perfectly. My meal came with fresh bread rolls, silverware, and BBQ sauce (not pictured)
Every detail shows how much care they put into their food and service. Whether dining in or ordering online, Hickory Roots never disappoints. I will definitely continue coming here for years to come!
