worst service ever we were waiting 30 mins and they didn’t even tell tell us they were short staffed, we were informed by customers leaving saying they waited over an hour for food because they only had one cook. they should’ve let us know before hand and not just having us wait there forever

The experience as my party entered the restaurant was not the best, but was recovered by Khira I believe her name was. As my party of 2 entered followed by another party of 6 there was already a line of 6 people sitting down. We were waited at the host stand for a little bit but no one appeared to greet us. We asked the people before us if they have been put on the list and they said “no, we have been waiting to be greeted for 10 minutes.” One party left hearing the news, tired of waiting, and more people began to come in. The place did not look super busy, maybe just understaffed. Then, Khira came in to assist and got it all organized. She was handling her tables, bussing the tables, and handled the host stand. She had a lot on her plate when we were there but handled it amazingly. I saw her interactions with other tables and she has such a positive attitude throughout the visit. She was a great waitress.

I think everything would of been perfect but I was told the corporate headquarters took away the coffee pots. When I go I love having a pot of coffee. Now if the restaurant is busy. It takes a lot longer to get a refill. Just wished they had Ole Smokes Coffee on the menu

These is a racial place. I went there today 12/6/25 with my 2 kids and they have me sit in there for 1 hour with no food. Am not mad of me not eating but my kids keep asking for the food. When I ask where the food was. They told me they forgot to put my order in. Every one else had the food right away. But since am Hispanic they didn’t want to serve me

My mom and I visited your IHOP location at 270 I-20, Terrell, TX 75160 on November 30, 2025, arriving at approximately 10:50 AM. We waited around 20 minutes just to be seated, which was already longer than expected considering how many empty tables we saw.
After finally placing our order at about 11:15 AM, we noticed a couple who had been seated 10 minutes after us receiving their meals by 11:38 AM, while we were still waiting with no update. At that point, my frustration grew, and by 11:45 AM, my mom and I decided to leave since our food never arrived.
This experience was extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, poor time management, and obvious oversight by both the staff and management were unacceptable. My mom and I left hungry, frustrated, and completely dissatisfied.
I will never return to this establishment again, and I hope management takes these issues seriously for the sake of future customers.
