I love Shipleys, but you’re open for 6 hrs and only serve donuts and kolaches. How are you out of both by 8 am everyday? And one person will say it will be a 20 minute wait for a kolaches, while the person next to them says an hour. So what do y’all do for said hour when you have nothing to sell?? 😂

The donuts are always fresh still warm. I don’t care what time you go maybe right before they’re closing and they’re gonna be warm. They kolaches or what we call pig in the blanket. They’re always so good as well. The dough is fresh. It’s soft juicy. It’s just a great place to grab something quick to eat donut wise, hot pocket or kolaches sausage and cheese or the ham and cheese the best.
I live Kansas City and whenever come to visit I make sure to stop by and get some donuts. Absolutely love Shipley’s! This last time I got some at 9am. They were cold and stale which is unusual for Shipley’s at this time. Very disappointing. Hopefully next time they will be better
I always come here. Usually moist, cheesy. Each tip with little bit of room. But Today was different- let me explain. I got some very toasty kolaches lol They were a bit crispy or slightly close to a rock. Still ate it. Still better than mesquite I tell you that. Either way, thank you for making them every morning for forever I’m hoping. I like that you guys actually add cheese. Unlike mesquite, they’re dry, crusty, lifeless. While Terrell at least theirs soul. And ps I’m sad there wasn’t any chocolate twists. Of course chocolate donuts will do, they were spectacular.
