I left a message on voicemail for the manager to call me back over a week ago, and have not heard anything because something was very wrong with my Carne Asada Street Tacos that I’d rather not post publicly. I was hoping it would be rectified, but I have not gotten a response thus far.

In the area visiting and thought we'd try taco cabana breakfast. We we're the only people in the restaurant and the service was horrible. The cashier didn't know about any specials and I kept telling her it was the one in the window! I finally just ordered a combo. My husband ordered a platter. Literally took 30mins and our food was cold. The hash brown was still frozen. The cook Literally fried it extra crispy before handing it back! Couldn't even eat it. The eggs were all brown and dry from being over cooked! The beans were nasty! Even the tortillas were cold and didn't look cooked at all. The we see 3 workers coming from whataburger with breakfast!! I can absolutely see why they don't eat where they work at! We won't eat here again.

It is with some reservation that I write this review, because the food in generally pretty good. I have gone through the drive through about 5 days a week, for well over a year, and always order the same thing. There is one woman who works there who is great and does a great job. If ANYONE except this one employee is working the window.... I have to repeat my order 2-3 times at rhe speaker, then again at the window, and 90% of the time what they give me nowhere close to what I ordered. One time I ordered 3 potato egg and cheese tacos and a diet Dr. Pepper.... I got 6 chorizo and egg tacos and a Coke..... I went back after I had already been home and told them what happened..... they apologized and gave me my order.... and gave me 6 more chorizo tacos. I have no accent, speak very slowly and distinctly. If this is happening to me this often there is zero chance it is not happenening regularly to others. I have this problem nowhere else. I have gotten to the point of going through the drive through and if I dont recognize this one employee's voice.... I'll drive off. I have wasted hundreds in incorrect orders.... and I'm done.

It’s been too many times that I’ve had to wait 20 minutes just to get my order in the drive thru. I’ve experienced seeing plenty of customers drive off because of how long it takes for them to bring out your order. There’s been many times I’ve been told they run out of food before noon even hits. It’s common to know you will not receive your whole order most of the time because they forget to add stuff. I was there about 20 minutes today after they took my payment, and the next time they opened the window, they asked if I forgot something. I haven’t even received my order yet! And then they ask if I have paid yet and that they are barely about to make my order. What were they doing this whole time?? If I hadn’t already paid, I would’ve drove off. There is definitely poor management at this location and it needs to be addressed. Money has NOT been made here because of the repeated issues.

This place is filthy ..... Whoever the manager is should be embarrassed ..... get your staff off their phones and give them some cleaning supplies ...... it wouldn't take much to clean this place up and keep it clean 💯 .... Where is your sense of pride ..... did you moms not teach you how to clean your rooms ...... if management don't care nobody cares ..... 🤷 ...... Ya'll should get trained next door at Whataburger ..... The management and staff take very good care of that store

I guess that since my previous evaluation of Taco Cabana, shellfish is no longer on their menu, nor any other type of fried seafood. Hope this means that only tortilla chips, Taco shells, and taquitos are fried in the same deep fryer. At least I cannot tell if any seafood taste is in their fried products, which are, I think, are corn tortilla based, except for their french fries. Very nice staff and manager on duty during this visit, the first in a few years. Still love their flour tortillas, bean and cheese nachos, beef and queso French fries, and chicken fajita meat quesadillas. (Would love some of these items right now.) Also like their margaritas, when, and only when I have a designated driver.

Didn't even order . Bathroom was out of paper towels and the tables were filthy . I'll pass. Ive went 20 years not heating here can go another 20. . This is a multimillion dollar cooperation wanting middle-class money
Check your drive thru orders carefully! I ordered a large chips and queso with guacamole. Queso was not in the bag!

They need either proper training or better management or both. People waiting for long periods of time for some one to take orders (dine in). Salad bar looked poor with only 3 options to choose from: left salsa tasted horrible, pico de gallo looked dry and not fresh, and 3 rd salsa was like water and no flavor. Then we go with dirty tables….customers were given blue cleaning towels so they could…. Clean their own tables?

Ordered 3 chicken Tacos to dine in. 30 minutes later they ask if I’ve been helped. I explained that I already ordered, than I get my tacos about 5 minutes later and they gave it to me in a to go bag. Tacos were cold and no flavor. My first and last time I eat here!
