Great place to stop for lunch on the road through Arkansas. The restaurant (including the bathrooms) is very clean and the food is hot and fresh, cooked to order with a wide variety of fried and grilled items plus vegetable sides. I got the grilled shrimp plate with beans and rice, slaw, an extra side of some mustard greens, and hushpuppies. Everything was steaming hot and very well seasoned. The coleslaw was some of the best I have ever had and all the dips/sauces are excellent. I want to try everything on their menu but sadly I was just passing through! Would go out of my way to return.

The wait for pick up order was over 30 min we ordered at 6:15 says pick up at 6:45 and we still waited 30 min over that time and it’s not the first time.. do not order to go or pick up at this

We had a terrible dining experience last night, certainly my worst, at Flying Burger and Seafood. The whole dining area, tables, seats, floors and serving areas were all filthy. None had been cleaned or sanitized by staff. Soiled napkins littered the floor, and under tables, crumbs were on the seats, and tables. No one was cleaning, and the restaurant was virtually empty, with 4 tables being used. I asked for the manager, pointed these things out, and his reply was they had been busy, then he told me to leave and wait in my car for the food we had ordered, and paid for. He followed me out, and went into a tirade, belittling and threatening bodily harm at some future date, that he would find me. He took pictures of my license plate, and said he’d deal with me. Al this to a 79 year old couple parked in handicapped parking. I will not be returning. I don’t recommend this establishment, and this was our second bad experience here.Posting for a great friend in Texarkana. Service is such an issue today along with hiring. We have to hire ‘anyone’ to fill that spot which gets businesses into trouble. I’m sure Mr Robert Smith “strives for something better” as their website states…but the fish stinks from the head down. Growing franchise in the Texas-Arkansas area is what they are proud of, not service or repeat customers.

Came for lunch, had 3 piece catfish, and chicken strips. Personally the catfish could have been cooked more. I like fish more firm. French fries and hushpuppies were good.

Great burger, knocked a star off for soggy and floppy fries. No option for tater tots but should offer them or some other side. I don't want a salad with a burger. Good stuff, could use more work to get a five star that they probably will never do. 13.94 for a cheeseburger basket with a small drink is a bit high!
