This restaurant is in an older building. We sat down at any table and waited for a good 10 minutes before we ere even noticed. A waiter finally came over and got our drink order. We got our drink and had to wait a few more minutes before a waitress came. She apologized and took our order. We ordered the trio meat fajita meal for two. It was a huge plate. Driving through Hondo looking for some late lunch, we stopped here. And we haven't regretted since. The place looks old, but it's clean. We had the fajita plate, and it was perfect. Big portion, big flavour, just the right amount of heat. Great Pico de Gallo, awesome refried beans and that Salsa.... This is Mexican as it should be.
This isn't my first Rodeo Taqueria. This is definitely Mall-food but it's nice to have some snacks and tacos in this amazing outlet mall, and it's not bad, certainly we appreciate that it's here and the decent prices, and this mall has three or four food options, and this is one of the better ones.
