Who cares about the atmosphere when the food is this good! Stumbled across this place while walking the car show 1 hour before they closed, and they still took care of us. Let me tell you, the salsa at La Gardenia was absolutely amazing. I was literally putting a spoonful on every bite of my food. If you have not been here, I highly recommend it. I wish we didn't live so far from here, and they should sell their salsa.
Shout out to this place a hole in the wall in Texas City. I have had my share of mini tacos, but this place serves them well, and the meat is phenomenal.. Great tacos, muy Buenos. First, this is an old building so don’t expect much on decor. The service was adequate. Only one waitress handling all the tables for breakfast so she was running. Coffee was ok but not hot enough. I had the breakfast plate and it looked great but the refried beans and potatoes were cold so that ruined the whole meal. I was hoping to find a place local but I’ll still need to drive up North for good food and atmosphere.
