I’m originally from New York and it’s hard to find good quality Chinese food. That is similar to back home. This location has strong authentic flavors and good prices and portions.
The portions at this place are crazy, especially considering the price. We ordered from their dinner specials where everything is about $10 and each dish was enough for at least two meals, sometimes three. We had leftovers for days! Everything was delicious, and China Star is our new go-to takeout place.
Me and my girlfriend eat at China star often and never had issues with their food. I love their beef fried rice and my girl loves their Shrimp Mei Fun and Wonton soup.
Out of all of the Chinese restaurants nearby they have been our favorite in town and have had a long history here. When I moved here over thirty years ago they have been here and they have been serving our community since then proudly.
