4:20 am at the 2nd ihop 6 milesdown the highway from the one thatignored me for an hour.. barelytook 8 minutes to get there fromthe one at Preston and 121barely here 30 seconds. they arealready cooking my food... but I'mthe only one here at the momentonly one waitress here also

Update: This is a tough one. This was my favorite ihop, but a lot of the good servers have left. Things take so long, even when it's half empty, no coffee pitcher on the table, the highchairs are disgusting, no check-ins, the cooks are the only ones holding things together food was accurate and good. Also, ihop tipping at 25% !? Do you think this is upscale!?Overall the best IHOP experience in all the north Dallas locations! Food is always warm, accurate and delicious. Waitstaff is very friendly and attentive.
The breakfast sampler used to be tough for me to finish. Now it costs 40% more and the portions are smaller. The bacon is thin, my ham slices are small. I finished everything pretty easily this time. I won't be back unless I don't have time to cook my own breakfast. Service was great and the food tasted good.
I ordered $60+ order and they looked like these. I paid for chicken and waffles and I got chicken and pancake-good thing I ordered waffles on the side. The mash potatoes were watery for the 55 pot roast meal; everything were lukewarm. When I checked for status of my order around 12:15pm, it said ETA was 12:29-12:50pm; around 12:30pm I checked again it said ETA was 12:40-1pm; finally around 12:40pm, it said it got Delivered at 12:30pm. So the food was sitting outside in the cold for about 10mins. The delivery person didn't ring the door bell or knocked on the door to let us know our order is ready and to also to give him/her tip. I guess the person didn't deserve the cash we were going to tip him/her for Christmas. Overall, not very happy with the food and service.

Very poor service. Slow and lazy staff who ignore all but 1 person in the restaurant. It took her 10 min to get a guy a drink, while ignoring everyone waiting for service or to be seated.

I take my elderly friend here once a month and she loves this place!! What makes it special is that the staff is amazing!! And the chefs aren't too shabby!! They always cook our food exactly the way we like it whatever we order!! Thanks The Colony IHOP!!!
