Fast casual food. Great parking, mediocre compared to Portillo's I've been to in Chicagoland.

My fiancée went in for a mobile order we placed with ample time, we arrived about 5 minutes before the order but somehow the staff was clueless on the order. Apparently they had no clue about our order and when they gave it it was completely wrong. Long story short what was a take out order took around 15/20 extra minutes. It is not that hard to follow an online order and provide it with it a timely fashion and not have to ad an additional 15 - 20 minutes. It was a literally 3 hotdogs, 2 fries and a coke.

Hit the spot! I wasn’t looking for the best hotdog in the world (otherwise I’d go to Fulton st. in NYC) but just to grab a bite to hold me over.Sunday evening, no line at the drive through.Got the classic combo with 2 hotdogs and a fry. Hotdogs taste so good with all the fixins and in that signature poppyseed bun-Mmmm. They don’t put ketchup only mustard. Try their bbq sauce with fries - it’s lovely with the hint of cinnamon (that’s how they do it in the north).Next time we’ll go inside and try the Italian Beef Sandwich dipped with hot and sweet peppers. That’s the way to go! ?

Terrible drive thru experience today. My first time. My pecan chicken salad had the worst dried out chicken which took forever for them to fix and the forgot my lemon cake and drink with my order. I WILL NOT ever be back and I will tell 10 friends. Very disappointed after paying over $33 for drive thru for 2 people.

Usually I don’t shared review but in this case!!!!! Service is horrible, first I ordered chicken tender with honey mustard……. They forgot the honey mustard……. Also my ketchup for my fries……. No big deal went back inside the restaurant to get whatever is missing. Started driving away….. open my bacon cheeseburger…………. Guess what …….. no cheese ?. I paid 65 dollars for a messed up order.

First time at this Portillo's, and it was excellent. The atmosphere was fun. It was very busy but it's big enough that we were able to get a table right away.

I've heard that Portillo's is huge in Chicago, so I was excited to try it out. Can't say I've ever been wowed by a hot dog before, but theirs is better than anything else I've had! The hot, crispy crinkle cut fries are also delicious. I looked forward to the Italian beef sandwich most of all, though it was underwhelming. The first few times I went, it was jam-packed with customers. Although the ordering line moves pretty quickly, the pick-up at the counter system is a mess. You're supposed to wait nearby waiting for your number to be called, but you can barely hear the number over the speaker while the numbers on the TV are really small. I counted around 30-40 people crowding around the pick-up area last time I went. Perhaps a blinking coaster system would be a better alternative. The water refill situation is also a bit of a hassle. They give you a tiny dentist-sized cup of water, and if you want a refill you have to ask someone at the pick-up counter, who is most likely already swamped with getting people's orders out.

Visited for a late lunch. Healthy salad for me and a juicy meat sandwich with peppers for the hubby. AND… a chocolate cake shake!?

The service and atmosphere was great, the sandwich was underwhelming though. The chocolate cake shake is always a hit. Overall a 6.7/10 experience, the shake was a 7.8/10 and needs a bigger straw.

Cleanliness needs some attention. Went in today (4/23) and needed to use a high chair for grandson and everyone were disgusting. Not only that, an employee saw me having to get one of these high chairs with a toddler in my hand. Didn't even offer to assist, which may not be part of his job but still; client experience is still there and he made no effort.

This is the original and BEST location in the Dallas area! I have been many times and the food and service are both outstanding.Try the beef sandwich with grilled onions (yes the peppers are great too) if you’re feeling adventurous!Big shoutout to Alex- his cheerful attitude and care is unmatched. Definitely a great face for management! Y’all rock.
