I’ll first say the service was great. No lost stars there. I think folks in this area are a little liberal with the stars.This place has fairly generic breakfast items, quality was decent, but food largely uninteresting. Pancakes and French toast were on the moister side. This would be fine if not for the price.Stars docked for two reasons - first being pricing. Two adults eating migas and a normal breakfast, coffee, and two kids meals totaled around 65 before tip. Felt a little rich. Second was minor but… decor. It seemed like it was decorated with a coupon from At Home by someone who learned about restaurants via their depiction in a B movie. This is where NPCs eat, with premium pricing.

This Sunview location was not great, the avocado toast was bad the bread was not toasted at all like they just grab a piece out of bread put avocado and egg on it and the avocado had too much lime , I used to order a Skillet at Melissa location and that was perfect but the one at The Colony was awful a total disaster the hash brown was bland , I love sunview at Melissa Tx but this one at The Colony 0 stars!

It’s very rare that I give a 5 star rating but I have to give it to Sunview Cafe. The restaurant was very clean. The atmosphere was nice, the seating was spread out nicely. One thing I don’t like is feeling cramped in a restaurant. I ordered Blueberry Pancakes with Bacon and Hashbrowns. The pancakes were light and fluffy with a good amount of Blueberries. The bacon was nice and crispy, but not crispy to the point of being burned, the Hashbrowns had a nice crispy/soft ratio and even their coffee was delicious. Great job Sunview! I will definitely be back.?

This is a welcoming, friendly place with a nice atmosphere. We had breakfast- the meat lovers skillet was very good. Our server Angie was over the top friendly, and kept our coffee mugs warmed up nicely. All six of us left full and in a great mood! Give this place a try- you won’t be disappointed.
What a WONDERFUL place to eat. The place is SPOTLESS. I told them they’d pass any military inspection. The manager, LUMI, will greet you and insure everything is OK. The service is GREAT, and of course the FOOD is 10+++. I love GRITS, and many restaurants don’t even offer it. But this restaurant has THE BEST GRITS on our planet. I eat breakfast there whenever I can, and I recommend it very highly. The food is delicious, hot, and quickly prepared. I get THE TRADITIONAL, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, GRITS, and COFFEE. What a GREAT MEAL!
