The food is amazing, highly recommended. First time there and we're definitely going to come back next time we visit Frisco TX.

Every time I go here, I am reminded that I pledged not to return. They now have a 20% tip automatically added to every bill, which is just a way for them to offer poor service and still be tipped. I had to ask for by bill and to go box 3x. I even saw my waiter saying goodbye to everyone before leaving and not taking care of my table. I wish we had more options for crab in The Colony.

My daughter & I came here for lunch on a Friday right after they opened. We were greeted fairly quickly and was allowed to sit where we wanted to, which I really appreciated, Thank you! I'm sorry I don't remember our server's name but he was really friendly and helped us decide how spicy was too spicy. We didn't get the spiciest one but we got the one just under the habanero one & it was perfect... for my daughter. It was a smidge too spicy for me. lol We shared a Bering Sack for $33 (crab legs, shrimp, corn & potatoes) & that is the perfect size for two people. Will definitely visit again soon!

Been here a few times, but this visit was the worst. The flavor in the seafood sack was lacking. The crawfish were virtually flavorless, which I could deal with. Had head on shrimp that were very mushy and when we asked about it were just told that is normal because they are cooked differently than head off (even though that hasn’t been our experience previously). It’s kind of pointless to ask if our food is good if you have no intention of addressing the complaint in any fashion (not an even apology). Had to ask for refills on drinks. I understand adding an auto 20% gratuity, but you have to provide equivalent service. Won’t be returning.

We’ve been here multiple times now and the food is delicious. Usually get some crawfish, crab legs and oysters. Unfortunately, we will no longer be doing any business with this establishment. Went in today because Google shows they are open at 11. We walked inside and the door was open. A few cooks came out from the kitchen and explained they had an issue and won’t be opening until later. That was all good with us. My problem is the absolute blatant perversion I caught from the cook. He had no issues being completely open with his eyes and staring anywhere he desired on my wife. I cannot support a business that employs these type of people, even if the food is good.

They gave me bad crabs twice. The first time they said my blue crabs were mushy because I kept my bag closed on my 20 minute ride home. I then decided to go on another day thinking maybe it was a bad day for them but no my second order was also mushy…. For the manager and cook in the back… Mushy crabs means y’all cook them dead or over cooked them.

Good food and service. I highly recommend for seafood! Prices are comparable to other Seafood restaurants in the area.

This was our 1st visit and we will be back. The good was delicious, fresh and hot. The service was amazing. Justin and Natasha were wonderful and made great recommendations on what to try. The station gumbo and crab fingers were the best.

I don't know if it's possible to leave less than one star, but I would. We went in, and we were told that there would be a 30 minute wait. While waiting, we noted piles of things under the metal stairs, including garbage bags of I don't know what. They didn't have the upstairs open, so ok, we will wait. While waiting, a group of five came in, and they were immediately seated. When I inquired about this, I was told this how they do it. At this point, slightly frustrated, I asked for the manager. He was explaining their policy, which fine, but when I expressed how ridiculous this was, the hostess burst out laughing. Because laughing at an upset customer is definitely appropriate. Never again.

The food was fresh kinda. The red potatoes were not done (they tasted like raw potatoes). The food barely had sauce - so i ordered more sauce and paid $1.50 for reach small cup (i think 2oz). None of my food was covered with sauce and when i asked the lady to at least comp one sauce she said that the cooks are only allowed to put a certain amount on it. I wish i took a picture but didnt know id be this annoyed and wrote a review. On top of that the ticket was charged an additional 20% for gratuity. When i asked about the lady said "it's a sign" but couldn't show me. There was no sign on the door or no where visible. I think that this should be added to the menus and told to the parties as they walk in. It was 2 of us and i don't feel like gratuity should automatically be added. A tip would be given (well by us) but to just add it and not be told it would be is distasteful and not good. We won't frequent this location again ever. The waitress was so rude as well til it was time to leave .... Anyway i will make sure i always visit the Arlington or fort with locations. MUCH BETTER than Plano!
