Ordered through doordash and was sent the most tasteless food they could cook. Chicken was bland, and jollof rice was as if they had never stopped foot in an African country before. I actually want a refund.

The service was mediocre. The food is delicious but expensive than others. We enjoyed the food though.

The real deal Naija food! Loved getting to try this spot while visiting the area! It looked like a nice place to sit and eat but I got my order to go. Everything was tasty. Awesome meat pie and suya. Also loved the amala and egusi soup. I do wish the portions were bigger for the price.

Great food and service, ambiance was quiet as I was there to pick up and early dinner for a family of 5. We had Egusi, pounded yam, wings, egg rolls, Jollof rice and chicken. We will be back for sure!

Everything was a little too spicy and salty to my liking even with the sweet flavor of fufu but I am very glad to have experienced trying African food! The restaurant’s ambience and service were great.

Delicious food. Nice vibe inside. Friendly staff. The beef suya was definitely my favorite, although I also really enjoyed the jerk chicken. I will definitely be back!

Had lunch here today, clean and functional ambiance in the small dining area. I am guessing they do a lot of take out and delivery as the food travel well. We ordered the beef Suya as an appetizer it was very good and I could not tell you the spice, but it was unlike any flavor I have tasted before. My guest ordered the jerk chicken with Zag rice and I had the beef chops with joffa rice. Both delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant and now am hooked on Afro-fusion cooking.

The portion size of the efo riro was EXTREMELY small. Not worth $20

Great food and good service but, just because I choose no meat in my egusi doesn't mean I should get two spoons of soup. feels like i got skimped. I like that y'all use collard greens instead of spinach in the egusi though.

Called over the phone to get takeout and try it for the first time with my family! The person who answered was very patient and kindly answered my questions. Ordered the following dishes: - Egusi with pounded yam (ordered it with only beef, no tripe or cow foot) Never tried egusi until now but it's definitely a new favorite of mine! Seasoned well and has a kick of spice. The fufu was a great side to this, and I'm definitely reordering it again. - Jerk chicken with jollof rice I've tried a handful of various countries' version of jollof rice before, and I have to admit this has been the most flavorful! Personally I'm not a fan of the smoky taste, but my family members enjoyed it. Chicken practically fell off the bone and felt like butter in my mouth! - Efo riro with plantains (ordered it with only beef, no tripe or cow foot) Efo riro has a special place in my heart, and while this restaurant's has not taken the #1 efo riro spot for me I highly recommend trying it! Was seasoned very well and also had a hint of spice, but a bit too fishy for my personal taste. Since we ordered takeout I can't fully comment on the service, but the restaurant looked so chic and lovely inside! Very nice ambiance and great music playing :)

This place was fine. A little pricey in my opinion. But if you need a good pick me up it's at the very least worth trying. I ordered the suya and pounded yam with egusi. Suya: It was tasty but the meat could have been a tad bit more tender, so it was def a lot of chewing involved Egusi and pounded yam: This was also tasty but same with the meat. It wasn't tender and could have used just a little bit more salt to taste. But the soup itself was pretty tasty as well as the pounded yam.

Restaurant Beware!!! My husband and I wanted to get a little lunch out on Sunday. So we looked for a Local West African ? Restaurant near by. So my husband looked up a few African ? Restaurant around the The Colony, TX area. We saw that "Zag Afro-Fusion Cuisine" was the nearest ? West African Restaurant. So we drove over to the restaurant expecting to enjoy ourselves. When we walked in the Restaurant door there was no one to meet or greet us. No Hospitality at all ?️. We stood for a few minutes before anyone came out to meet us. Then a Lady came from the back where they prepare the food ??. She had a very unwelcoming look on her face ? and even looked like we had offended her in some way. Just like a Saddest or a very Negative type Attitude. Both my husband and I noticed this when she entered the room. She looked like a person that had not seen happiness in her lifetime. I said to my husband look at how this lady looked at us. She never greeted us nor did she say Welcome to Our Restaurant. Readers continue to read my Review to the End. She said can I take your order? She gave us Menu's then tried to seat us at a Dirty Table. The seats were very filthy. I noticed that we were their one and only Customers. The Restaurant was Completely Empty ?. I'm already ? starting to see why. But I chose our seating at the Restaurant instead of accepting where she wanted to seat us. She asked us if we were going to Dine-In and we said yes. She went to the back where they prepare the food and she came back with a Big Pitcher of Water ?? ? that I'm sure probably came out of the water hydrant. She couldn't do like some other African Restaurants that give their Customers Bottle Water with a Sealed Top. All of the time that we were at this restaurant not even one person walked in. Buyer's ?? Beware not a one. ?? Once she brought the food out to us she went straight back to the back again. So we started eating the food. I started to feel like someone was watching me. I looked up and looked to the back of the restaurant through the glass where her and her cooking staff were watching us from the back of the restaurant. ? All of them were standing together it was such a weird and uncomfortable experience. I said to my husband. "Babe" this Lady and her Cooking Staff were watching us through the Glass Window of the Cooking area. Even the Chief was standing there. This started to freak me out. I felt some kind of way. My husband told me to just ignore them and eat my food. I was half eating my food and I couldn't just ignore them. The Lady stayed in the back of the restaurant most of the time we were there. When she came back in she had that weird look upon her face. Didn't say anything to us just went and put something behind the bar then went back to the back of the restaurant again. I was looking down then I looked up again they were gathered together talking and watching us. I told my husband I believe that they did something to our food. A few minutes later the Lady walked out and asked us. How is the food? Then she actually said your not going to drink the Water ??. I told her. No, We don't want the water. Then she walked away. I ended up seeing one other lady walking past the back door where they prepared the food. I told my husband I don't feel comfortable here. He said him either. He said we can never come back to this restaurant again. It was my first time there. I believe my husband visited the restaurant on one other occasion. He said that he felt some kind of way about the Lady that served the food she has a very strange attitude and weird personality. She's not your normal everyday kind of person. ?? She ended up walking out with the Restaurant Bill on a Little Black Clip Board with Two Soft Peppermint ? Candies and like Five Tooth Picks. Yesterday evening after leaving the restaurant later my husband started feeling ???. Not feeling well at all. He has been vomiting ??? over and over again. Complaining about his stomach and a Bad Headache. We will never go to th
