This was by far the worst experience at a food establishment. The service line food looked nearly inedible. It was completely empty in there and the service was still terrible. The smell was awful. It smelled like a porter potty throughout the whole building. The portion sizes were horrible for the price paid. $31.36 for 2 meals. I could’ve had better food from a gas station for that price. The cooks were cooking our food first and then they sat down to eat and our own waiter ended up cooking our food. They really need some stability within this establishment. I will never step foot back into that place nor will I ever recommend it. Everything about this place made me sick!

Ordered 2 medium bowls with fried rice and an egg. Did not get the fried egg nor 2 other things I asked for in the bowl. One bowl barely had fried rice in it. My 2nd order didn’t even come with the fried rice that I ordered. The portions I was given is not worth the $30 I spent.

Every time we have gone here, it has gotten worse. Today we went. First there was no kids menus, next there was no ice for the drinks and then to top it off, we went up to make our bowls and there’s absolutely no chicken. I asked our server if there was more coming and she said no they’re completely out. We feel like that’s something they should let their customers know when they’re ordering. Chicken is the only thing our kids would eat from there so we decided to leave at that point.

Place is absolutely ridiculously overpriced for what they have. They had no beef at all at 4:30 on a Tuesday. You get a plastic fork. Also had very little veggies to choose from.
I don't give bad reviews usually, unless something is unusually bad. My family of 4 came to this location last night because we were in the area, my husband loves stir fry and we wanted to try it out after having not been there in a long while, hoping it had improved since our last visit (water dripping from ceiling onto furniture, smell of sewage, flies around meat). Sadly, the sewage smell was worse, so bad I had to hold my breath. I wanted to leave but we were so hungry. The wait staff ignored us after seating us, didn't bring us menus. Finally a young lady came out and took our orders then disappeared without saying anything and then finally came back a few minutes later with our bowls. We went to make our bowls and the meat and veggie selection was sparse, not much to choose from. When we got our food, I noticed that some of the veggies tasted terrible, like a sour chemical taste so I couldn't eat them. The beef tasted ok but too much gristle. The portions seemed small for the prices with very little rice. Since we were not given menus, we were shocked to see that the large bowl my husband ordered was $25.00, plus an extra dollar for 2 eggs. We could have gone somewhere else and received MUCH better food. We would not have minded the price of the food,had the atmosphere and service quality warranted it. Our total bill was $80.00 for 4 bowls of not so great food and 4 waters. Very disappointing experience and we don't plan on returning. Ba Mien on Sawdust would have been half the price and their restaurant is always very clean with excellent stir fry and other dishes and attentive service. We will avoid this place until they get their act together.

I’m not sure what went wrong here. The only person who enjoyed this experience was my six year old godson who only got noodles and teriyaki. Everything else was the pits. They didn’t have sausage or some other key items for the build your own bowl. My husband asked if they were going to replenish items and they just shook their heads no. I’m surprised because my sister raved about this place.. maybe it was an off day, it just wasn’t our day.

I've been to Genghis Grill at other locations. The location in the Woodland is by far had the worst service. It's absolutely horrible. The supervisor/manager was more concerned with hiding in a corner eating than making sure our food was served when it came off the grill. It just sat there until my wife had to keep getting up, requesting service. The food was actually good. Service is less than satisfactory. I'd go back, but I'd have to mentally be prepared to know the service sucks and the people don't care.
