Mastro's Ocean Club

This Mastro's Ocean Club offers a comfortable environment, live entertainment and great food. We appreciate the large portions, opting to take home a large part of each course - especially the butter cake! The wine list is expanding and offers a wide assortment of Old and New World wines. We will return!

The food was great, our waiter was very knowledgeable, and we got a complimentary dessert for our anniversary!

Food was good. heirloom tomato and burnt a salad was ok, steak was very good. Excellent service and ambiance. Medium on the value scale...

Disappointing Experience for the Price This was honestly some of the worst service I've experienced in a long time. From the moment we arrived, the waiter seemed disinterested and slightly rude — it felt like he was going out of his way not to assist us. After taking our order, he never returned to the table, despite walking past multiple times without so much as a glance. We eventually had to ask someone else just to get our bill. On a more positive note, the other staff were attentive and made sure our beverages were always full — something I appreciated. As for the food, I asked for a medium steak and received something very rare. Rather than send it back, I just had it boxed to reheat at home, which really shouldn't happen at this price point. For a bill totaling over $700 for four people, I expected a much higher level of service and quality overall. Unfortunately, it didn't come close.

We're regulars to this location, and celebrations for family birthdays is a no-brainier when there is something for everyone at Mastros. The service is always first-class, ambience is nice, there's usually a musician singing live on the piano, and the food is sensational. Special occasion dining and business is recommended, but doesn't have to be the standard. And always save room for the butter cake— it's the best!

The food is delicious. The vibe is lively and everyone that works. There is amazing. We are blessed to have them in The Woodlands.

Wow, what an incredible experience! The food was absolutely brilliant, and the drinks were fantastic. The service was impeccable and personalized.

everything was great with the exception of the king crab. they were the end pieces and extremely skinny disappointed with that I will be back tho :)

If it's possible for an expensive restaurant to be a very good value, Mastro's Ocean club in the Woodlands is it. The atmosphere is top shelf, the entertainment is very good and the food is really really good. We had a chop salad and NE clam chowder. Both were large and excellent. Main entrees were an 8oz filet and a blackened salmon - both excellent. The scolloped potato's were the best we ever had. It was a huge portion. The $5 bread service is well worth it. The wine list is extensive but unlike other high end restaurants where it can be difficult to find anything under $100, Mastro's had selections under $50. We selected a merlot from a Paso Robles vineyard for $42 which was very pleasant. Of course, it was served at the right temperature and in a beautiful wine glass. You don't have to spend a fortune for an excellent wine drinking experience. The following day the restaurant called to ask about our experience. Who does that? The service was excellent - attentive but not stuffy. When my wife was getting ready for dinner she put on her best necklace and asked me if it was too much. If not Mastro's where else would you wear it? This is the ultimate special occasion restaurant! Oh, chocolate cake for desert was to die for !!!

I had an amazing meal with my wife here. The drinks were pretty good and they left the shaker to ensure that we got the full amount of the drink. We had the shrimp appettizer and the shrimp were huge! But they were also cooked to perfection and had really good flavor. For entrees my wife had the 8 oz fillet and i got the bone in ribeye. I would have to say the ribeye was probably top 2 steaks i had ever had. It was extremly tender and oozing with flavor. It was also huge! I will probably eat it for three days lol. My wife also enjoyed her fillet. For side we got the lobster mac and cheese and brussel sprouts. The mac cheese was good and had a lot of flavor but wasn't that memerable. However, the brussel sprouts with the bacon was fantastic! We ended with the famous butter cake i had been hearing so much about. I am really big on dessert. The portion size was huge but I wasn't as impressed with it. I didn't finish it ( which if anyone knows me i will alway finish my desserts). Overall it was an outstanding meal. Highly reccomend. Oh and the there was live music that at good level that didn't over power our conversation. Loved the atmosphere.

Our first time eating at Mastro's and OMG the best food we have ever had. From the appetizers to the drinks everything was great. What made the evening was the impeccable service from our server Alex. His recommendation and to his service with a smile made us feel welcomed and important. I recommend getting him if you can. We got lucky lol. We cannot wait to go again. What made it even more special was the call after thank us for dining with them. If we could give it more than five stars it would have been worth it!!!

The best experience of dining we've had. Professional hospitality and chef was great. Drinks were amazing.

We started with 6 east coast oysters, then ordered from the Restaurant Weeks menu. My wife had shaved sashimi, followed by a generous portion of redfish. I had Caesar salad with a 6 oz filet. Asparagus cooked perfectly as an side dish. Butter cake & sorbet for dessert. Alex was perfect as our waiter. We had in fact had him as a server at our daughter's wedding approx 12 urs ago. Enjoyed visiting about old times. All in all, a special evening.
