This is for the location near woodlands. I'm almost sure it's this one. This place has roaches!!!!!! My friend ordered their shrimp boil and it had dead roaches inside. The waitress just giggled like she thought it was cute. We couldn't even finish our food. My friend payed but we never went back. Horrible place

I came in the server was so dry. She never checked up on us. She didn’t take an order for one of our party guest (there was only 3 ppl at the table). And it took her a hot minute to get our check to the point we had to go up to her behind the bar to retrieve it. Just go to the Osteneria in 242 honestly.

The food may have been prepared fresh, but it tasted old. Unfortunately, no one there spoke English, so I had to use the little Spanish I know to order. The beans were unseasoned and bland, and instead of regular white rice, I was given fried rice for some reason. The bacon on the shrimp brochette tasted old as well. The tostada was okay, but overall the experience wasn’t great. I wouldn’t return

Food was great and the vibes were nice, but service was a nightmare. We waited 30 minutes just to order because five different servers came to our table, none spoke English, only Spanish. We even had to use Google Translate just to ask for red rice.
This is Texas, not another country, so a basic level of English for food items and numbers should be expected. Owner should have at least one English-speaking server or train the staff on simple terms. Friendly people, but the language barrier ruined the experience.
