I placed a big order the day before and to be pick up the next day I said: “have my order ready at 10 am I will be there any time after that” I can understand can be a miscommunication but the lady make sure I was wrong and was 100% my fault. Then she was talking with her team about the situation that this was my fault. She was very disrespectful when I asked a question about my order. She needs to learn how to talk with customers!

Ordered and paid for donuts on 9-25, showed up to pick up on 9-30 for my daughters birthday. The Minute I showed up I was told they couldn’t fill my order and it was my fault for expecting them to fill it on Saturdays because they are too busy. Asked for a refund on my money and was told I need to take it ip with corporate because I ordered it online. Submitted a request to “corporate” via the barcode on my receipt and no response. Please have someone contact me……

I don't listen to anyone who says Shipley is not the best donut place - probably because it's the only place I've gotten donuts my whole life! I appreciate how they have a regular apple fritter - I hate the ones with all that goopy filling. My favorite is the bullseye.

zero stars. Went on Easter morning with my kids to get a dozen assorted doughnuts and let the kids each pick their own flavors. While standing at the counter talking to employee #1, employee #2 decided to take some sort of ice scraper or garden tool to literally scrape food stuck to the floors. Not only was it obnoxiously loud while we were there, she was standing in between us and the employee taking our order. I thought maybe this would be a short occurrence but it was not. For the next 5 minutes she continued scraping old food stuck to the floors. Once she was done with this obnxious act, she picked up a broom and started very vigorous sweeping. This is (again) while standing between my family and the other employee who was holding our open, exposed, non-covered, non-wrapped box of doughnuts. You could see the dirt and dust particles flying into the air as we tried very hard to ignore. I finally asked this woman to please stop cleaning the floors over my uneaten doughnuts. She stopped for one second, then continued sweeping the floors as though she did not hear us or understand us. By this point, we were disgusted with the whole encounter and left the store. I will be reporting the establishment to the Texas Health Authorities and I am certain this is not allowed. Not only was it gross and unsanitary, it was completely rude to stand in between us and the employee #1 as though the restaurant were closed and it was cleaning time. I am actually so disgusted I will never return to this or any Shipleys doughnuts. We left and went to Starbucks were the food is behind glass counters and the employees are clean and friendly.

I have been a long time customer of Shipley Do-nut, while the donuts were the usual tasty and fresh as advertised. However the low rating is in regard to the kolaches that were a big disappointment. They were much smaller, small roll of ham and cheese was hardly there.
