Having traveled a lot, I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food. This was, hands down, the best I have had. The Mole Almendrado was magnificent. The mole was flavored beautifully. The chicharrones with fresh made guacamole was delicious. The staff (Itzel) was excellent.
Authentic Mexican
We enjoyed the street corn appetizer and the vegetarian enchiladas! The green salsa is my favorite. The service was fantastic and we even visited with Uli. The tucked away location is off Research Forest just west of Kuykendahl. Make the effort to visit and you won’t be disappointed! Cheers!
Uli's Kitchen offers an exceptional dining experience with its incredible food, fresh guacamole, and unique ambiance reminiscent of a favorite restaurant in Guadalajara. The restaurant's service is consistently personal and amazing, with favorites like the mandarin coconut margarita and the street corn appetizer. The vegetarian enchiladas and green salsa are also highly praised. Uli's provides a romantic environment, and the owner, Bonnie, warmly welcomes guests as if they are family. This is not your ordinary Mexican restaurant, but a unique and highly enjoyable experience.
