The Audrey Restaurant & Bar

After several great experiences at The Audrey - we felt this a perfect place to celebrate a special event. After weeks of planning and specifically asking for a particular table in the restaurant (of course due to availability upon arrival), Chloe insisted we be seated in the middle of the restaurant at a very awkwardly placed table. The restaurant was not busy, the table we originally requested was available.

Needless to say, what may have seemed a harmless detail to Chloe - was a big detail for our family and equally a big disappointment in customer service. For the standard menu at a much higher price point, but lacking in the General Manager’s customer service, we will not be back.

The food and atmosphere are wonderful. However, your reservation is pointless. Every time we have a reservation and show up early or on time - it’s a 45 minute to hour wait. There is no common courtesy call to make you aware and the hostesses are not apologetic by any means. It’s sad that such a great restaurant has such poor operations.

I was at the movie theater and decided to order food. Delicious, delicious, delicious! So much food, you get your money worth. Movie theater and resturant is upscale. The bathroom was beautiful even the sitting area. I've been a few times & have enjoyed it very much!

Me and my fiance had this place on our list of places to go for a while, and finally decided to go. From the moment we were sat down I was not enjoying the vibe. We were sat right next to another couple which is fine, but the tables were quite close to each other and because of that we could hear each other's conversations. The restaurant is conjoined with a movie theater and the whole place felt like it was trying its best to appear classy and somewhat fancy, but fell short in my eyes. On the subject of food, the burrata was quite good and worth the price. My fiance got the lobster bisque and felt it was not as good as other places we have tried. I ordered the truffle mushroom ravioli and was disappointed. Our food was simultaneously smaller portions than I assumed, and didn't taste as good as the price or the atmosphere suggests. All in all it wasn't worth the experience I'm my eyes, but it might just not be our cup of tea.

I can’t believe the prices they charge for this place. I had a truffle mushroom ravioli. It was okay. There were probably 3 tiny mushrooms and arugula on top of my ravioli which I thought was weird. I asked for some bread so I can dip the sauce and they gave me rolls that they charged $8 for. The rolls were like burger buns. I would never go back to this place. My husband ordered a chicken and snow peas. There were about 3 snow peas. Completely overpriced. I do not recommend this place.

Excellent food, excellent service. The Parker house rolls are an excellent share item and we had one of their daily specials which was a Gnocchi dish. It was perfectly balanced with texture taste. Atmosphere and decor beautifully done. Service was impeccable. A fine dining service.

This was our first visit to The Audrey. We enjoyed the evening overall, though I’m not sure it was worth the drive for us from NW Houston—about 30 minutes to The Woodlands. The layout is a bit unusual with the movie theater connection, and I wish I had known ahead of time that the restaurant is upstairs and directly connected to the parking garage. Parking on the third floor makes access much easier.

We started with the Burrata, which was very good. The warm grilled sourdough was a nice touch, and the Calabrian chili jam had a pleasant kick without being overly spicy.

A couple of the salads are available as half portions, so we ordered a half Caesar and a half baby wedge. The Caesar was fairly typical—good flavor, though a few too many croutons for our taste. The baby wedge was the better of the two and generously sized. I don’t recall much blue cheese crumble, but the dressing itself was good.

Alcohol is not a priority for us. My wife does not drink, but I enjoy a glass of wine with dinner, and I found the red wine–by‑the‑glass selections to be somewhat limited.

My wife ordered the braised short rib, which was rich and flavorful, though it was actually her third choice. The lobster roll is Maine‑style with mayonnaise (despite the menu referencing drawn butter), and the crab gnocchi comes with a butter/cream sauce—neither of which she prefers.

I had the Alaskan halibut, which was also very good. I didn’t notice much watermelon in the cucumber–watermelon radish salad, but the salad itself was plentiful and refreshing. The bit of broth in the bowl reminded me of Eddie V’s Chilean sea bass preparation.

The interior is bright with an eclectic mix of tables and chairs. Our small round table for two felt a bit crowded at times, especially with the menus and the drink/wine tablet. The round table mats were cute, and the table overlooked the Woodlands green space—nice, though not the most comfortable setup.

All in all, it was a good dinner and an enjoyable evening.

I love this place. The ambiance, the food, and the service is a 5 stars. This has become a special place to me.

Great spot with a very cool vibe. Food and drinks have all been great. Service is outstanding. Wife & I celebrated our anniversary here and Skye took great care of us.

A wonderful surprise. I ended up at The Aubrey almost by accident after taking a different route because of traffic, and I’m glad I did.

I started with the mussels, which were excellent, but the real standout was the Chilean sea bass. It’s not on every menu, and when restaurants offer Chilean sea bass, the execution has to be right. The Aubrey absolutely delivered. The Chilean sea bass was perfectly cooked, tender, buttery, and beautifully presented. Every element on the plate worked together, and the attention to detail was evident from the first bite to the last.

The atmosphere felt welcoming without being stuffy, and the service was attentive and professional. This was one of those dining experiences where you can tell the kitchen genuinely cares about the food.

I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend The Aubrey to anyone looking for a memorable meal in St. Louis. A hidden gem and a delightful detour. Sometimes the best discoveries aren’t planned.
