Great service and good food, but a bit too pricy.

Came here for breakfast while visiting the Woodlands for my birthday. Gabriella was our waitress. She was extremely polite and attentive making sure we were good. I love food so I was pretty hungry. I had the two deluxe breakfast with scrambled eggs, grits, turkey sausage, biscuit, and I added a French toast. I am southern so my goodness those grits and biscuits were delicious and the French toast was amazing. I also had two strawberry orange mimosas which had just the right quick. Glad we stopped by before heading home.

Found this place just about a mile from where we were staying and I'm so glad we did. We went on a Sunday morning and there was a little bit of a wait but there was open seating at the bar. I didn't get the server's name, but she was really great, so friendly, checked on us often, made great recommendations, and if you ask me whipped up a delicious iced vanilla chai. As for the food, my husband ordered a scramble, the one with southern gravy on top, and he said the flavor was wonderful. I had something simple, two eggs over medium, sausage, and one piece of French toast, I believe mine was called the yolk breakfast - or something like that. You have a choice of a sides, grits or hash brown casserole. Both are delicious, but they hash brown casserole is cheesy, potatoes or cooked just right, and great flavor. Nothing really spectacular about the French toast, although it was good. I'm a little picky about fried eggs, and my over medium were actually a little soft for me. Next time maybe I'll order over medium-well. Heads up on ordering eggs, just seems everyone does it differently. Would definitely recommend this place for breakfast, didn't try anything on the lunch menu.

Very disappointed with my experience. The food was just okay, but several things were disappointing. My Irish coffee was served cold, the fruit looked old and unappetizing, and the bread tasted stale. Our bartender never did a second-bite check or came back to see how everything was, so we were never asked if everything was okay.
Overall, the food quality and lack of attentive service made for a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we won't be returning

Parking is a real problem. No to go spaces. 1 Handicap space is around back and (update, if the lot is full which it always is) they expect people picking up orders to park in the parking garage around back...

Mediocre food, over priced in my opinion. Floors were disgusting, makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.

Food was plentiful, and long lasting. Service and atmosphere was good as well. Nothing stood out either way.

Dariela she was the best! Good attitude and treated us amazing, had a great time and enjoyed the food and drinks she suggested 10/10. Fav spot so far

Had a great time at The Toasted Yolk Cafe in The Woodlands! The brisket tacos were delicious and the strawberry cucumber cooler was so refreshing — the perfect pairing. A special shout-out to our server, Dariela, who was friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit even better. Highly recommend!
