I have know about Korean food since the mid 70’s. Military assignments allowed me to travel from my base to many countries including South Korea. Years later I moved to the Woodlands and met this wonderful person. I sampled so many Korean meals and it wasn’t long before I see the beginning of Yori Wow. In its second location now and I want to say go there! Try her food,! It’s worth the trip. Call ahead if you need a large order.

Best of the Best...
Yori-Wow is a quaint and old school feeling Korean grocery/convenience store. The kind you might be slightly unsure to walk in at first but you know there's good food to be had. The store is filled with Korean snacks, prepared food and Korean side dishes(Banchan). I bought some Kimchi Fried Rice and Tteokbokki. Both dishes were flavorful with a nice touch of spice but not overwhelming. I took both dishes home cold to reheat and eat for dinner. The food reheated well and the egg on my fried rice was perfectly yolky even after 90 seconds in the microwave. I didn't buy any Banchan, but it looked like Yori-Wow has a good selection of homemade banchan. The owner was friendly and nice to talk to. I'm looking forward to coming back in the future.
The cucumber & Napa cabbage Kimchi is savory and crunchy !
Bim bi bap is delicious!
I decided to give the new place in the area a visit. Not knowing what to expect and after speaking with the owner, I tried the Kimchi. Not ever having Kimchi before, I was warned about it being spicy. It sure was and delightfully good. I'll definitely return for more Kimchi and some of the other items on the menu. I would recommend stopping by and trying the Kimchi.
Excellent food! Had the bulgogi, kimchi, kimchi fried rice, and japchae. Each very good. The owner is very nice.
Best Kimchi I ever tried! I recommending to all of my friends. My father used to eat Korean food back in California and it’s hard to find the good taste here. I gave him a portion of kimchi he said it was the best. The best meal you could ask!
