If you’re in Thorndale, Texas and haven’t stopped by Balderas Joint yet, you’re missing out. Hands down some of the best tacos around — fresh, flavorful, and made right every time. It’s one of those true small-town spots where you walk in feeling like family and leave full and happy. We love supporting great local businesses, and this one is definitely worth the visit!

We've been driving past this place for 1 1/2 years. Finally, we were able to find them open. We ordered the Bulldog Breakfast Burritos, $10 for 2. Fantastic. Big portion. Great flavor. The salas is so good! I can't wait to try more food. The hours are Monday-Saturday 7 am-2 pm. It's not exactly conducive to our schedule, but I will forsure order food early & keep it warm until my husband gets off work. This is an order ahead to pick up or order & wait place. Outside seating is limited. It's a food truck type place. Fast & friendly. You need to try Balderas Joint if you haven't.
Parking: This is a small brown building. More like a food stand. It is not an eat in restaurant. Call ahead for faster service.

Great little food joint. Great service and food. Glad they are here since Thorndale does not have any eating places. Their chicken flatuas plate is delicious, full of flavor and good size portions for a reasonable price. Service is always with a friendly smile. ?

The Bulldog Special breakfast burrito was amazing. The buttery eggs were cooked to perfection, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It had the perfect combination of ingredients, leaving me satisfied and craving more.
