We met friends here recently. The atmosphere is unique and cozy. The service was attentive. The food…. Meh. We won’t be returning. Did ownership change? We recall it being better quality last time we went.

We stopped by for some late night drinks & dessert. The hostess was welcoming. We sat at the bar and waiter was really friendly. Sitting at the bar you get to see all the food being prepared and it all looked mouth watering. We got the bread pudding and it was delicious! Our drinks were fun and different and we enjoyed all the flavors that were combined to make that unique drink. Looking forward to going again!

It was a last minute decision to eat here, but I'm definitely happy it's where we ended up. I'm not familiar with the Tomball area so it was pretty much a crapshoot for me and my date that night. The inside was definitely very loud. Luckily, they had one table left outside that they could seat us at. I am very grateful the hostess didn't seem to mind changing the table she was going to put us at because I'm very hard of hearing and had we been seated inside, I wouldn't have been able to hear a single thing my date said that night. The atmosphere is delightful and the waitstaff is exceptionally friendly and pleasant. I ordered the Mushroom Petit Filet with Risotto and it was delicious! It's a bit overpriced for the location, but was still a lovely experience.

While the staff was kind, they accidentally gave away our reserved table that we arrived on time for. They did give us a ten dollar credit for the inconvenience. I ordered a medium temperature steak that came out well done with a “meh” flavor and cold sides that were not as described on the menu. I gave up and ordered the sea pasta, which was good. My husband ordered a medium salmon which also arrived well done and dry, but the dual sauces were good. The adult beverages were watery. The bread pudding- chocolate chips overpowered the bourbon sauce so that it was like eating a wet chocolate chip muffin.

Weird vibe, servers are slow at everything. The food is very good. So, weigh your options.

This place is amazing the Atmosphere is great the Service is awesome and the food is 10/10. My Husband and I had the opportunity to sit at the Chefs Table and got to watch the wonderful Chefs make all the food for the night. Our fantastic waitress, Haylie suggested we get a Cesar Salad and a Steak Portobello to start and the AMAZING Beef Bourgogne to share it was tender and juicy with such smooth mashed potatoes. To end the night we got a Crème brûlée to and the cocktail of the month created by the most skilled bartender Monica. We will definitely be coming back to try more of what bonfire has!Service 10/10Atmosphere 10/10Food 10/10Bartender 10/10

Enjoyed my 40th with a group of over 20. They were super accommodating before and during my event. The brisket ravioli was delicious and the baked Brie and jam was my favorite!! Wasn’t my first time dinning there and it won’t be my last!

We tried this restaurant twice and it was twice too many! First time we got the salad with pork bellies and the pork was cold.. fat is not tasty when it’s cold!Second time we got the beef bourguignon and the beef was tough, fatty and dry.The salad was pretty but pine nuts were not a good touch.I’ll pass and not go for the trifecta!

Been here many times and it's always delicious. It was crazy packed so food took awhile but it's okay as they handmake from scratch everything they serve. I love getting to do a little fine dining so far out of the city center and the cocktails are always yummy. A lovely intimate dining room great for meeting a friend or sit at the bar and watch the chef in action. Good menu variety, great pizza, and good portions/price ratio. A real find in Tomball. ~R Gracey Owner Great Houston Properties Real Estate

We want to love Bonfire Grill and gave them four tries with mixed results over the last year. But our visit this past Sunday will unfortunately be our last. I hate to post reviews like this, but when you're charging a premium and delivering the minimum, people deserve to be warned.TLDR version - slow service, expensive prices, raw egg, indifferent and patronizing staff/ownership/management/leadership.We arrived around 12:30 - there were only two other parties in the restaurant. We waited about 15 minutes before our waiter visited our table and took our drink order, then another 15 minutes for our beverages to arrive. It took them 40 minutes to serve our food - a hamburger, egg croissant sandwich, and avocado toast with a poached egg. The poached egg was stone cold, so we returned it, asking for another. The waiter condescendingly explained to my wife, "That is how the chef says poached eggs are served." We insisted that if it were made fresh, it would still be warm. He returned 5 minutes later with a new plate of avocado toast and RAW egg in a little bowl - I'm not exaggerating, the white of the egg was still clear liquid. I told the waiter to remove that entree from our bill and to close us out. While he was taking care of the check, a woman (who I assume is the manager) stopped by to explain to my wife AGAIN how a poached egg should be served, that maybe she just doesn't like eggs prepared in that way, and would she like them to make something else for her. No apology was offered, and the lack of sincerity or care was obvious. At this point, I was visibly angry, and as we were leaving every front-of-house staff member went out of their way to say in a backhanded manner "Have a nice day!' - each with a big fake smile.Bonfire Grill - you have a top-down leadership problem. You need to reevaluate your customer service model. We love the Main Street scene in Tomball, and it needs a restaurant concept like Bonfire, but you are missing the mark BIG TIME. P.S., please do not respond and try to explain your concept of a poached egg again, we're not buying it.

I will not be returning here. My toast was burned and my eggs were cold not fully cooked.
