Comix is an amazing place to hang out, have a snack, or drink, and play your favorite ttrpg's. I visit every week for they're dnd night, switching between DMing and playing. The staff is very friendly, as well as the regulars at the store, I even met one of my best friends at comix cafe. If you ask me? I'd absolutely without a doubt, recommend Comix Cafe.

Dead Bomb Art
I stumbled upon this shop and was pleasantly surprised in their variety of different items. I was able to find the comics I was looking for, pick up some painting supplies for my gaming models, and I even scored a rare vintage DBZ toy that I never expected to find. If I lived closer to Tomball, I'd be going to this place weekly. It's a really solid ganestore.

I really enjoy the atmosphere at this place. Even when there are quite a few people here campaigning and whatnot, I can still hack away on my laptop doing school work. The espresso was surprisingly good, and the food is pretty tasty.

Great place for getting games and comics. They seem to have a very active community. There's always games going when I stop by. There's a large variety of games there. Unfortunately some of the sections aren't organized very clearly and the service isn't the most welcoming. If your looking for a new boardgame or something like that I'd say give it a try!
Since the Cafe opened three years ago the staff here has upheld an exceptional level of customer service. Despite going there a million times it takes me forever to pick what to order (thanks adhd). Everytime the staff is patience and understanding. (Shout out to Ash) They will wait for me to be ready, suggest different items, and/or just have a nice chat depending on how busy they are. There have been times when staff members have put a comic aside just for the next time I come in, because they thought it would be something I'd enjoy. (To no surprise I've always loved the recommendations). There have been times when the place is completely packed and yet they will take the time to go beyond what's expected. For example, during Du0026D nights the staff is so awesome they will bring your order to your table. It's not required. They just know their regulars well enough to know who ordered what. Oh, for all the women and queer people out there this shop is very welcoming. I've had plenty of problems at other shops were things have gotten uncomfortable. The staff here makes sure everyone is comfortable and welcomed. They have created an environment that makes us feel safe. If you ever have an issue just tell someone and they will find a solution. Ontop of that the staff is very knowledgeable on different comic materials and can suggest LBGTQIA+ comics. Last thing! One thing I love about this store is the sense of community with all of their consumers. The owner actively displays the work of local artist on the walls. They encourage game nights. They even have cool events like toy fairs and miniature painting days. I highly suggest checking them out!

I LOVE this place! I Have literally brought every single one of my friends here! Ash is always fun to talk and helps me find exactly what I’m looking for. He also gives the best recommendations! There’s always some thing new to look at, or an exciting event coming up! Sometimes I come here to play a game of ultimate werewolf, or to just chill with a gamma blast and play RuneScape! Definitely recommend this place! You will be happy you stopped by! The workers and owner feel like family.

Normally I wouldn't leave a review, but after reading a harsh review, I have decided to step forward with my two cents. Ash is a wonderful, helpful person. He is very thoughtful and kind, but knows when to take things seriously and put his foot down when he or his workplace is being disrespected. I've seen him run the store on all fields by himself and still cater to each customer's needs, and some of these reviews I am seeing do not depict him at all in an accurate light. He is very patient, and makes sure the rules and regulations set by the Owner are enforced. He is also straight to the point in finding out what a customer wants, and highly knowledgeable of the product the store sells. Someway or another, he knows almost everything that is in the store, as well as what most comics are about. I am amazed with how much information he can store in his head, whether it be comics, customer orders, or the coffee recipes. From what I've seen, he can run the store on his own - even on the busiest of days. And -still- get your order right and on time, and greet Don at the door. Clearly, this guy busts his derrière doing his day-to-day. Yeah, he's older than he looks, maybe a little worn around the edges, but he gets the job done. By the way, try Jesse's Girl - she's a sweet treat in a cup. These five stars are for you, my guy.
