I recently visited Dottie's Ice Cream Shop and had a wonderful experience! Lorraine, the owner, is incredibly nice and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The ice cream is absolutely delicious, with a variety of flavors that are sure to please everyone. The coffee is equally amazing – rich, flavorful, and perfect for a little pick-me-up. Everything is reasonably priced, which makes it even better.

The location is fantastic, and the shop itself is really cute and clean. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a treat and relax. Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: I have over 40 allergies and this was amazing! I had no reaction and the lady who owned the place was so kind by reading the ingredients for me and helping me find exactly what would work for me. Both ladies working were so sweet and helpful and I had a wonderful experience. 10/10 recommend!!!

Delicious gelato- so many delicious options it was tough to choose. Ultimately, I LOVED the chocolate and toasted coconut with a waffle chip. Cozy patio and friendly scoopers too.

We loved this little Gelato shop. Everything is fresh and fantastic. I purchased a biscotti for later and it was one of the best I have ever had. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Went on a Saturday afternoon with the kids, and it was so fun! The gelato was amazing, and they had 12 amazing flavors to choose from! Lorraine (owner) was at the shop and mentioned that she trained with real Italian artisans before opening, and it definitely shows!My son also has a peanut allergy, and since Lorraine makes the flavors herself, at the shop, she was able to confirm with me that no peanuts have ever been inside the equipment! She still has flavors with peanuts, but mentioned that they are added later outside of the gelato making machine. That is safe enough for us!

Parking: I was a little worried about parking, but there was a lot (Tomball City Hall's) just off of the main road, right in front of Dottie's. So access was super easy!

I’ve been lucky enough to have had gelato at the top award winning gelato shop in Italy (there’s a yearly competition apparently) when traveling and I’ve never expected to taste anywhere near the same quality in the States. However, out of boredom my partner and I decided to go to Old Town Tomball today and wander around. We happened across Dottie’s. When looking at the options, I noticed the measurement marks on the outside of the gelato containers and asked the server if the gelato was homemade. She said yes it is. Well, to my surprise the gelato was incredible! Closest thing I’ve had in the U.S. to quality gelato I’ve had in Italy. It is all natural and homemade in small batches. Anyone looking for authentic gelato needs to come here. True hidden gem. Even thought I live about 40 minutes way, I will definitely be back.
