Drove from Dickinson to Tomball to just to eat here. Took my bride and DIL, I hyped up the place, and we're mostly happy, but I took forever to get our Onion rings appetizer. Then another forever to get our meal. But my personal disappointment was the baked squash! I bragged about it soon much, then we got, nothing more than watery/sweet boiled squash. I had even ordered two servings as my side. Then my bride didn't even eat hers. Nothing like the baked squash, I'd had there, many times. Long drive, for a partial let down...

Excellent food and friendly staff. Highly recommends their pork ribeyes steak. Their rolls are also amazing. Great place to dine if you are nearby. Parking space is often full in the front, and that's a good thing. You know the food is going to be good!

I saw this place and figured I try it. They advertise world famous chicken fried steak, so I figured I try it. First the gravy taste like it came from a powder mix that you just add water too. Not from scratch. Second the chicken fried steak was bland. It was cooked ok. But being advertised as world famous it was a let down. Had no seasoning. The fried okra was good and the sweet tea was ok. Staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. Overall it was ok. Would come back and try something else. Just was a let down with the chicken fried steak.
