Worst chicken fried steak ever, not flavor at all, crust taste like flour… mash potatoes was dry, coffee was poorly make like watered, waitress bring food and never give us flatware until I asked. Rolls were not good at all. Terrible experience.

Always a great comfy inviting atmosphere when you walk in. You’re greeted right away and always seated immediately. The look from the outside is deceiving, it’s a lot bigger than it looks, lol The food is always on point and tastes really good. Always comes out fresh and hot. Stuff is always nice no matter who is talking to you. I’m very attentive to your needs.

They have great chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken but today we had fried shrimp and it was awful. Shrimp was definitely breaded frozen shrimp..Salad had more water in it than it had tomatoes..
Service was terrible. Had to wait about 15 minutes for the food. Red sauce was terrible

I mean it was OK, the food was alright...nothing spectacular or amazing about it. So far it does seem like one of the better options near the hospital....oh and they got this margarita they dump grand mariners over....it's not bad, little on the expensive side

Everything was Bland & Unseasoned. I’m a Chef with a Food Business who’s big on Flavor, and Goodson’s lacked it! How are you Guys deemed to have “The Best Chicken Fried State in Texas”? With Zero Seasoning & Flavor. Heck no! Do I need to come and Train your Chefs? You Guys need to kick it up on the Flavor. It was terrible. I remember when I was Young in the 90’s, and we would come here, it was much better. I don’t know what happened. This was terrible. My Grandmas Salisbury Steak and sides were Bland, too. Very disappointed! The Rolls were “Pretty Good”.

Service was ok, but it lacks. The waiter completely screwed my order up from the start. I found it hard to believe since he wrote it down. Good luck getting drink refils. Luckily, im a fan of the entire menu. With that being said, i tried something new and loved it
