I am in so much trouble after finding this great place. I should 800 pounds next week. Very good cookies and hot at 8pm. Wow

Just like some of the other previous reviews. Very rude and unprofessional workers. We chose to take our money elsewhere.

If you're looking for a delicious treat that comes at a worthwhile price, look no further.

Went to try for the first time and it was good. I got the oatmeal raisin cookie and one white chocolate right after it came out the oven it seemed. I forgot her name but the staff was really nice and helpful. Will be back.

⭐ 1 out of 5 — Disappointing Experience Despite Keto Excitement

As someone on keto, I was genuinely excited to try Half Baked’s keto cookie options — it’s hard enough finding good keto-friendly sweets, and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly from the moment I walked in.

When I entered, there was no one at the front counter, so I waited a few seconds and looked around. Eventually, a lady came out from the back. I politely asked if they were open since it seemed empty, and she replied, “Is the door open?” — in a snippy, sarcastic tone. Not the warmest start.

As I tried to place my order, she cut me off mid-sentence and said, “All the prices are on the board.” I’m not sure if she thought I was questioning prices or couldn’t afford it, but it came off rude and dismissive. I decided to just order and leave at that point.

The first two cookies I asked for were unavailable because they were out of the keto icing, so I told her to just give me any four keto cookies that were available. I asked about the keto bazookie, and she said it had to be ordered 15 minutes in advance — fair enough. I decided to skip it and left with my cookies.

Now, for the food review:
• Chocolate Chip (Keto): 8/10 – Easily the best one. Soft, rich, and satisfying for a keto treat. I’d recommend this one.
• Peanut Butter (Keto): 3/10 – Way too much peanut butter; I had to chase it down with water.
• Sugar Cookie (Keto): 2/10 – Overly sweet and tasted like it was rolled in stevia or another artificial sweetener.
• Double Chocolate Chip (Keto): 7/10 – Pretty good flavor and texture, no complaints.
• Crème Brûlée (Keto) – Couldn’t really judge since it was missing the icing/topping.

My friend ordered from the regular (non-keto) menu and had mixed feelings:
• Walnut Chocolate Chip: 10/10 – He said it was one of the best cookies he’s ever had.
• Double Chocolate 0 – Too sweet, he took one bite and tossed it.

Overall, I’d rate the customer service a 1/10 and the overall visit a 1/5. I really wanted to like this place, and the cookies themselves had potential — especially for keto options — but the rude and dismissive service ruined the experience.

I hope this was just an off day for the employee and not something deeper like RACE, but either way, the attitude left a bad impression. It’s a shame, because I would’ve loved to come back to try the keto bazookie and the cookies that were missing icing.

The young lady was so polite, and courteous, it was incredible, loved experience, LOVED CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I came at 730 pm on a Friday 9/19, the hours specified on the door AND online say they close at 9. All the doors were locked and to make it worse, TWO EMPLOYEES were sitting down at the counter and just stared at me. This is why people have no respect for the younger generation, like this. The laziness and lack of respect is astounding. I’d be embarrassed as a business owner knowing the times I should be making money and serving customers, and I find out I have employees that just lock people out and stare them like idiots

I was hung up on enquiring about a cake. I will be going elsewhere. How unprofessional.

After dinner at Gringo's, we were in search of a dessert spot and found Half Baked Goodness thanks to Google and it was a great choice!

The had keto cookies, which immediately caught our attention, so we gave those a try along with a traditional oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookies are thick, soft, and served warm- such a nice touch!

We tried the keto sugar cookies and for being sugar free they were surprisingly tasty. Even better one was left overnight and still held up really well the next day without reheating. The oatmeal raisin was also a hit.

Definitely a place I'd return to when I'm craving something sweet especially for a guilt free treat. I'd love to try more of the keto flavors next time!

Locally owned, it’s like the locally owned version of Crumbl. I highly recommend Half Baled Goodness OVER Crumbl. GF Vegan Keto friendly options! 10/10 highly recommend! Very tasty and pretty cookies! Clean cool spot!

The cookies are tasty—I especially love the Peanut Butter Supreme—and I appreciate supporting local businesses in Tomball. However, I’ve noticed that this location seems a bit unprofessional. The staff’s attire and the presence of individuals other than staff in the cooking area raise some concerns that I hope management can address. I’ll be checking out the Cypress location to compare the experience.

This place is pure cookie heaven. Although they face stiff competition from other Houston bakeries, I think Half Baked has the best chocolate chip cookie in all of Houston. Dont sleep on the oatmeal raisin or the cookie of the week! They also have some gluten-free and keto options which are sweetened with maple syrup. Delicious!!!
