I don’t usually leave low reviews but I do belive in constructive criticism. With that said, I ordered a flat white with oat milk to go but got a steaming (and I promise I’m not over-exaggerating the fact that it was extremely hot) latte. The frothing pitcher was simply placed on the coffee machine with the steam wand inside, the barista turned the steam on and left it there until it was making the high shrill sounds, which means the milk is scalding and burnt. Then the barista placed the coffee and milk in a large coffee to go cup filled to the top. When I tried to say I had ordered a flat white, meaning it had less milk than a latte, he went on to say a flat white is actually a latte but with no foam. So I left with a coffee that burnt my tongue (even after waiting a while since I could feel the cup was very hot), a coffee that wasn’t creamy (they use oatly barista so it had the potential of having actual steamed milk), unhappy with the experience, and a bit frustrated that the barista didn’t know the difference between various coffee drinks, because instead of being something that could’ve been fixed or alternated it ended up being unpleasant overall.

Excellent experience. They had several gluten and vegan options. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable but a little noisy. I will definitely return again.

$6 for this tiny dry almond muffin. There are other options in the neighborhood where you can actually have a good pastry for $6

I'm writing a review because the recent ones are absurd and false and I know how much honesty here matters for a business. As someone who's been coming to this hidden gem since it's opened I can tell you that's it's VERY hard to find quality in this area without having to travel to the Heights. This place is my favorite. High quality foods with impeccable ingredients; their croissants are AMAZING -worth the drive from any distance and red potatoes so yummy and unique, it's such a vibe for a low key delicious meal, work meeting/ lunch, study session, or solo trip. An atmosphere that's modern but definitely something you'd find in LA. I've never not been greeted with a smile. Shout out to the sweetest Angie for the best lattes btw because I used to literally just go for their coffee before I got an espresso machine lol Y'all are doing amazing! Please don't ever go anywhere.

I was initially skeptical of this place based on prior reviews.I was looking for a place with “cheffy” food choices in a great atmosphere.I’m glad I looked into the reviews and decided to give it a go.It was great! In fact I came back today after my initial visit yesterday. What I had today was fantastic as well.Definitely a place worth supporting!

This is in my top 2 places for great coffee and huge cinnamon buns! Such a great place, very nice people and good service. The cinnamon bun was the highlight for me and it was so good, I dragged the others here 4 days out of 7 during our trip. Superb morning coffee and a giant pastry to go with it - best way to start the day in my opinion! So so impressed with Levure, well done to the staff that work here. Also, the freshly baked baguettes are pretty much sold out by 1030am and Levure opens at 1000am. There is other food here but I never got past ordering a cinnamon bun and a latte...

Food was mid. Service is terrible. We specifically told the front house worker our order twice with CLEAR pronunciation and even pointed to the food item on the menu, and they still had our order wrong. We brought their mistake to their attention, and they still charged us extra for getting the correct item. Along with that, wait time is terrible and the discrepancy between how they treat certain groups of people is very obvious (and I’m not even a liberal ?).

The food was good, better than average. But the whole place feels off. The young lady behind the counter was not helpful. The ambiance is noisy with a lot of loud voices reflecting off floors and ceiling. People grab the outside tables and stay for extended times without eating. The rest of the service was ok but just not helpful. You didn't feel welcome. This was our second time and probably our last time. It wouldn't take much to fix the problems but the staff/owners seem unaware or unconcerned.

Decent drinks, decent quality of foods. Sad that the inflation made their prices gone up. Or their prices were so high all the time.Kid-friendliness: Got high chairs
