I love me some Mexican food. This place just didn’t quite live up to what I’ve come to expect is possible in Texas. The staff was great and the restaurant was nice, the food was just so-so. I hate to say flavorless but that’s the best description I can come up with. I can make better tacos at home.
Was pleasantly surprised. Driving up, we weren’t sure what we were getting into. Service was very slow (not sure why, because they had 4 waitstaff with 8 occupied tables….perhaps they were doing the cooking too.The veggie and beef fajitas were excellent. They used tender juicy beef and grilled to perfection. The veggies were awesome.The queso was really good despite the unnatural orange color.Salsa was quite bland.

My vegetable enchiladas were quite good ! I didn't have high expectations given the fact that I'm ordering vegetables at a Mexican restaurant but the they delivered well, the queso dip to my preference was a little salty but other than that everything else was good , our waitress had alot of charisma and was very attentive to what we needed. So I went to this place for the first time and the food and service were great although the beans were a bit runny. Now I would be apt to return again but I just couldn't stand walking in through the patio CHOKING on the cig smoke!!

We dropped in for lunch, our first timeService: was attentive and friendlyWe split the lunch portion of the “Pollo Loco”It came with rice , refried beans, guacamole and pico. We substituted Charro beans for the refried.Chips and Salsa: salsa was good, warm lots of flavor, tasted like fire roasted tomatoesPollo Loco: Grilled chicken breast stuffed with spinach, cheese and shrimp. Was very good.Rice: was good, not greatCharro Beans: lacked salt, had onions tomatoes and cilantro in them. We’re okGuacamole and Pico: didn’t taste fresh, tasted like food service.Didn’t order any drinks, just drank waterOverall we enjoyed it. We maybe back again.

My boyfriend and I decided on having our Valentines day dinner here and it DID NOT disappoint!! Service was superior!! Food was delicious!! Margaritas were outstanding!! This was my boyfriend's first time and he said "Rancho Grande used to be my go-to place for food and Margaritas. But I have found my new favorite spot!!". By the way, I don't find mole enchiladas at too many places. When I saw it on Martha's menu, I didn't have to look at anything else. It was the best mole I've ever eaten!!!
