There is the feel of an old time Cafe. I had a BLT, which was fantastic. Although the sandwich was simple, it was skillfully prepared and looked too good to eat... Almost. The thick cut applewood smoked bacon was heavenly but didn't overpower the experience of the crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and perfectly toasted bread.
The more than 2 hour wait at the tax assessor’s office afforded me plenty of time to sit down for lunch & Nonnie’s, being a short walk away, fit the bill. I had a BLT & a root beer float (it’s an old school soda j*** so they make it right there in front of you; not canned soda). It was comfort food (nothing extravagant), but good food & great service.
Brought my little one for a coffee & oreo ice cream. She thought it was the best thing. The ladies here are very polite and always have a smile. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the hospitality.
