Yum! Loved their fried pickles and burger. The ambiance is sports bar, Americana and its great. We like to come here with the kids on Tuesday nights since kids eat free. I highly recommend it!

Over priced, dry, flavorless food
I really want to like this place. Have tried it a couple of times, having a burger both visits. The flavor was a bit off both times. Had to scrape off the lettuce mixed with some sour ish sauce, almost as if a bit turned or rancid. Would suggest trying something other than the burgers. Perhaps the rest of the menu ok. Probably won’t be going back

Really wanted to like this restaurant. Unfortunately, our first visit (and likely going to be our only visit) fell short of our expectations. Started with the pretzel bites with queso. They are just frozen pretzel bites that weren’t properly reheated (not even warm on the inside). Entrees we had were the fried bone-in chicken with sweet potato fries, and a California wrap with a side of broccoli. The fried chicken was bland and greasy. Sweet potatoes were cold, limp, dark brown, and tasted like they’d be fried in old oil. The broccoli was still raw, hadn’t been cooked through. The wrap was fine, nothing to write home about. Pricing is high for the quality. Our server was attentive, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. This place is probably good for drinks, watching games, and hanging with friends, but definitely not worth the visit for a sit down dinner.

First, menu changes have removed several of the best items. Steak and eggs disappeared and now the waffle smash burger is gone as well. The last time I ordered the waffle smash burger it was made incorrectly with no bacon, no cheese, and no syrup, and had to be remade.
Today I ordered chicken and waffles and specifically asked for no dark meat. The server substituted two thighs instead of a breast and thigh but failed to mention there would be a $10 upcharge. When the food arrived both waffles were hard as a rock. The manager replaced them but only brought one even though the dish comes with two. When the second waffle finally came it was still overcooked.
When the bill arrived I was charged $2.99 for an extra waffle that was already part of the meal. I was charged $10 for the substituted chicken thighs which was later only partially adjusted to $5. I was charged $19 each for mezcal margaritas plus an unexplained $8 mezcal upcharge. I have ordered these drinks here since the restaurant opened and have never been charged that before. I also had over $14 in loyalty points that were not applied.
In total I was overcharged by more than $23 in unnecessary upcharges. Even after addressing it with the manager the resolution was incomplete and dismissive. By the end of the meal I did not even have the patience to dispute it further.
We have supported Southern Ice for a long time but after repeated issues with food quality, menu changes, and now billing games we will not be coming back. Based on today’s experience and how poorly this was handled I do not see this place lasting much longer in this location.

Not the greatest food. I live nearby so I visit often. A great Meetup place but don’t expect the food to be above ordinary bar food. Great for drinks not so great for food. Food is greasy, hamburgers, steaks and other meats are low-grade, but they can pull it off because of the atmosphere great atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere! Great service! Always happy and attentive. Very fresh and hot food served both times. Have had the smash burger and fries which were really good on our first visit. Sunday, Aug. 17th we tried the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and amazingly fresh southern green beans (not canned). Very good! One suggestion to owner if they read this - mashed potatoes were a bit bland - not sure if they were powder or real - they seemed powdered by the taste as I am the master maker of fresh red potato garlic mashed in my house (lol), maybe spark them up with a little more butter and some garlic. As Paula Deen says, everything is better with butter. HA :)

Got a to taste test a new item on the menu, the Patty Melt, and it was tasted perfect! The patty sauce was perfect and the sautéed onion matched amazingly. Highly recommend trying the Patty Melt and goes great with a brewski from Justin at the bar!

I went in today to watch the Astros game. Jacob was so nice and made sure the TV was on the right channel, then he corrected a technical issue. The food and drink were good, especially the Bellini.
