Always great food, and the opportunity to have a draft beer too.
The in-house chocolate is excellent and the barbecue is among the best you’ll find anywhere in Texas. Eat inside or out,

First time coming here. The staff was super friendly. Food was fresh and delicious. I had the the chopped hoagie. It was so good. Fresh bread they was not soggy at all. Nice and crispy.

The brisket was perfectly cooked. Juicy brisket.

I had a bite of my friends potato salad which o should have got myself. Reminded me of home.

This is my sixth or seventh BBQ place that's in the texas top 50...It is as advertised very good. Sampled the entire menu excluding beef ribs and burnt ends. The brisket great, was seasoned well with good bark and was moist. The ribs were good not great but still solid. The Turkey was great as well as the pulled pork. It is a Texas style pulled pork so not drenched in sauce like the Carolinas. The craft soda was very good...my first soda in over a month so yummy. The atmosphere was very good and the line went pretty quick. Recommended to any BBQ foody.

Great BBQ with the line moving much faster than you think it would. The Pork Belly burnt ends, Turkey and Chile Reno Sausage were truly outstanding! The Brisket was good, and I'd eat it again, but I've had better. We loved their selection of non-name brand fountain drinks. Their bake potato offerings were a home run as well. The chocolates were expensive at $5 each with some being good and others not so much. One nitpick would be the bacon coleslaw… no one liked it. Overall… we’ll be back to try out the other menu items we did not purchase.

This is my second time here. I don't live near Tomball, so I typically go to Truth BBQ. I had chili rellano sausage, pork belly, and brisket. Sides I had, tater salad, beans, and cornbread casserole. Pork belly was delicious and fatty, sausage was great, sides are okay, they're kinda basic and sorta bland. The cornbread casserole was sponge like and plain tasting. I dipped it into the beans which helped the flavor. The tater salad was just okay. Definitely needs mustard and a tad more salt. Now, the main meat that should shine, the brisket. I can't remember how it was last time I had it (which was 2 years ago) but it was pretty trash. I specifically asked for wet, and the two pieces I got were DRYYYYY and crumbly. I honestly contemplated asking for some new brisket and they could take the ones they gave me. One piece had some fatty chunks and the other piece was one solid piece of dry brisket. And I mean dry! I took my finger and smashed it, and it crumbled apart into the tray. Honestly, I probably won't go back. It's an hr drive and 100+ for food. Truth is stupid busy and long lines, but the meat is stupid good, and their sides are crazy good. Their tater tot casserole is damn good. Oh and I don't want people to think the service is bad at Tejas, because it isn't. The guy behind the chocolate counter was super nice and friendly. The people taking orders and bringing the food are nice too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Tejas Chocolate definitely one of the best BBQ in all of Texas!! We loved it so much that we couldn't even take a photo of what we ate!! The pulled pork sandwiches were delicious and the carrot soufflé was spectacular!! 🔥🍖

The beer I tried, Megatron Dark Chocolate, is without doubt one of the best I've ever had 🍺🍫

Tejas is a winner! First time trying them and was left heavily impressed with the food and service. Tejas BBQ was some of the best brisket I’ve ever hand, the chile relleno sausage was a banger, the carrot cake soufflé chefs kiss! We will definitely be back, if it wasn’t closer to me I’d be in trouble. Definitely worth a stomp anytime you even remotely have BBQ on your mind. Can’t wait to try the nachos which looked awesome or the loaded spuds.
