Not our best dining experience. This place is Ala Carte with very small portions, we spent $61 and barely got any food. This was my first and last time at this restaurant. My wife ordered some ribs and got the dry burnt ends that were very small. The sausage link was good though and the root beer soda. $10.40 for two pieces of brisket. I didn’t get any photos because my wife wouldn’t give me her phone.

I placed a large catering order, and they provided amazing service and food to my dad’s memorial. Everyone loved the bbq and chocolate bread pudding!! Thanks so much for everything.

$14 for small bbq sandwich with no sides or drink . Look like a kids sandwich. Also cashier was very rude. Won't be back. Rudy's bbq alot better.

Food was great as usual, however the service is foolish. They’re now adding a hidden “service fee” of 15%. I asked the cashier and he just shrugged as if he knew it was a ripoff, he told me it was for the employees. First off, you stand in line to order, you get your own drinks, you get your own condiments and food, so I’m not paying a waiter/waitress a tip here. This is total robbery, and lots of places are doing it now and they need to hear about it. If they want to raise the prices that’s fine atleast we know what to expect, but an added charge is B.S.Let’s just say they have 20 workers per day there. If they ring up 20,000 in sales, which I’m sure they do, then that’s 3000 in “service fees”. Do you think each of those 20 employees are getting a 150 bonus everyday on top of their pay. I highly doubt it….They may employ 30 workers, but they’re not working 30 per day, I’ve been in there way to much to know the faces. This kind of stuff is so sketchy and rubs a lot of folks he wrong way, most would pay the difference if prices were raised, but most of those same also don’t like it without lube if you know what I mean

I absolutely love the turkey and lean brisket here when available, and the sides, including carrot soufflé, will knock your socks off. If we’re really craving Tejas, we usually aim for late lunchtime on weekdays and pick over what is left for meats because you absolutely cannot go wrong. And we always grab a monster-sized bonbon on our way out. This is a well-known gem for all of Houston, so there are definitely lines early, but on weekdays, minus Friday, they’ve never been completely sold out late-lunchtime when we’ve gone. Don’t try to order online, for delivery, it never works out with how busy the business is.

Disappointed after all the hype.I was very surprised that I didn’t like it more, because it came so highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and helped me make my selections. I had the brisket, sausage, potato salad and carrot soufflé. The brisket was cooked well, but the bbq sauce was overwhelmed with vinegar and very acidic. The sausage had some sort of cheese in it and that was pretty much all I could taste. The potato salad was way over salted, which again just overwhelmed the taste. The carrot soufflé was tasty, but really nothing to rave about. I really expected that this place was going to be a real treat, but walked away quite disappointed. Hours later the acidy bbq sauce is still giving me indigestion. One other note, I generally tip well (20% or more), but it annoys me when a restaurant takes the liberty of automatically adding a 20% “gratuity” to your bill.

I had a great experience here. My brother brought me here because he said the food was really good. There was a good size parking lot across from the restaurant. We had no issue finding seating, we sat outside. They have a vast display of chocolates, I’ll include some pictures. It has been a min since I was last here since I don’t live in Texas, but I’ll post pictures to give people an idea. Food wise, everything we ordered was very tasty. Meat was tender and moist. They had good flavor. Carrot soufflé was delicious. Chocolates may or may not be the same, but I recommend trying some out and bringing some home to your family. The ones I got were not too rich, I enjoyed all of the flavors I bought.

Beware!! In my opinion Tejas BBQ is stealing from their customers. They don't tell you at the counter that they are charging you 4% on each item you purchase with a debit card ( credit card companies charge between 1.5 and 3.5 processing fee which merchants can negotiate) Tejas is charing even more! And then on top of it they charge a 15% Service Fee that you have no choice in paying even if you pay cash. So you're FORCED to pay a 15% tip. That should be MY CHOICE not YOURS!When I ask about the charges, he said there was a sign at the front door which there wasn't, he lied!... and said they should have also told me when ordering....they didn't!!!That adds up people! I paid $55.00 at lunch for 2 people with no drinks. There was a family sitting at the table next to us and overheard our conversation and said they were very upset too because they had just paid $92.00 for 2 adults and 2 children to eat.  Unbelievable!!I won't be back!!Sent from my T-Mobile 5G Device

Came here on our visit to Tomball as it was listed as a must see in the area. Had the brisket, cornmeal casserole, carrot soufflé, Green beans and the brisket and blues sandwich. The carrot soufflé was pretty damn good. The brisket was above average but it arrived a bit cold. The green beans and the cornmeal casserole were solid (but not to die for). They have a nice selection of brews on tap and have other beverages like mimosa and micheladas. Good overall and will be coming back.

Best sandwiches I've ever had. I've honestly never eaten at an establishment that automatically charges 15% to every order. That's the only flaw that leaves a bad taste!
