Order a poboy to-go. It had apples and oranges in it? If you’re not going to do a traditional poboy, that might be something you want to advertise. The bread was sooooo stale and the fries were cold and soggy when I got home and I only live like 5 min away from this place so that doesn’t make sense… first and last time going to this place.

Having live nearly 8 years in Tomball about doubt, the best place to get brisket. When I moved back to the UK, we had to come back to the states for a funeral thing keeping me going on the plane over was knowing that I was gonna get some brisket that night from the Rib Tickler. Unfortunately, US immigration services had other plans for me and didn’t release me until 10 minutes after TOR closed for the night. All that way to miss out as we were flying to Colorado the next morning.

Recent experiences at this establishment suggest a decline in quality. The meat, particularly the brisket, exhibits a noticeable difference in taste and texture, with the moist cut appearing less tender. It's almost as if the person cutting the meat throws in the lean cuts anyway. I'm very simple: a pound of moist cut beef with pickles. Every time, I still get the onions, bread, and sauce. Furthermore, the level of service has seemingly diminished. While the staff remains polite, the overall experience does not match previous standards. This location was once a preferred destination for brisket; however, current conditions necessitate improvement. It is hoped that operational adjustments will restore the quality previously enjoyed.
Update: August 21, 2025. Despite my hopes, I am disappointed, as I was hoping to remain a patron. While the order was accurate, the brisket was unfortunately dry and lacked moisture. Furthermore, the flavor was notably absent. I believe I will be seeking out alternative barbecue establishments.

Try and stop by this place once a week and get the chicken sandwich for lunch. It’s a little pricey but the sandwich is pretty large.

2nd time I ordered the burger and it wasn't cooked. Literally threw it away and ordered a burger somewhere else. Probably the last time I come here.

For several years now, our company has relied on Rib Tickler for our monthly meetings. There's nothing we haven't liked or had to complain about. The food is always fresh and so good! Service is outstanding - Alexis and the owner, Frank, are both great and make sure it's a smooth process for us every time. Early on, the group we host requested that we only order from here, so we just keep their menu in rotation. This place is an excellent choice for your next event or anytime!
