I love the name so I had to try the ribs lol The line was long and it was hard to find a table but we got one so be prepared for that. I enjoyed my ribs. The meat fell off the bone so it was perfect! My green beans were good but the fruit wasn’t sweet. I should’ve gotten a different side but I was full by the time I tried it and didn’t want to deal with the line again. My husband had the chopped beef potato and he was happy. Brisket bombs are spicy but worth it. Overall not a bad experience.

It had been a very long time since I had been here. I wasn’t aware of the ownership change. I did notice the change in decor, it used to feel welcoming and now it feels like something was lost. The ambience is gone. Now to the food, the ribs were tough and the there is toooooo much cumin. I knew kinda right away the ribs were different it tasted nothing like smoked ribs. It has a terrible glaze. The brisket was dry and flavor less. I just left it there on the plate. Couldn’t eat it, frozen okra was good. I’m sorry for this review and I’m terribly sorry Tomball lost a piece of home by losing a true place of bbq. Last time coming here. Thank you for the memories.

I ordered through Uber Eats, so I can't speak to the atmosphere. The food was fantastic though. The brisket was perfectly cooked. I asked for extra moist and that's exactly what I got. The BBQ beans were sooo good. The okra was packaged separately and was still crispy when it got here. My son got the chopped beef sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be eating here again!

Service has been amazing when we visit. This last time, they made a mistake on our pick-up order. When we brought it to their attention, the happily and quickly fixed it, then went above and beyond our exists to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Never had customer service like THAT at a family restaurant. We'll be gong back MANY many more times!

I went into The Original Rib Tickler for the first time the other day for lunch with my mother, who has been there multiple times. She has had nothing but high praises for the establishment, so I had high expectations.
Upon walking inside, I took some time to review the menu, and decided upon the pulled pork sandwich with fries. We then sat down at our table, and the food came out shortly after.
The pulled pork sandwich was outstanding and the fries were also seasoned nicely, and crispy enough to satisfy my expectations. Ultimately, this is a great restaurant to check out if you're in the area, with a great small town atmosphere.

Order a poboy to-go. It had apples and oranges in it? If you’re not going to do a traditional poboy, that might be something you want to advertise. The bread was sooooo stale and the fries were cold and soggy when I got home and I only live like 5 min away from this place so that doesn’t make sense… first and last time going to this place.
