My Mrs. And I went here for a date night that was long over due (4 kids) and it was absolutely an amazing night out.The atmosphere was amazing, the attentiveness of the staff was STELLAR, and the food was beyond delicious.We will definitely be coming back. If you are looking for a quality place to for a night out or just a good meal with great service Refuge Steakhouse should definitely be at the top of the list!

We have gone a couple of times to the refuge. We’ve sat at the bar and we’ve dined outside when there is live music. Saturday we got there in time for an hour of live music and amazing food. The fish with grits and lump crab and asparagus is amazing. I’ve had it before and knew I wanted it again. I also absolutely love the burrata. Had to do that again. However, Tam (Tamara), made it exceptional. Mind you, we have always had great service. She’s personable, fun, sweet, attentive and all around a win for the refuge. Love loved the night!!! She made it extra special.

My mother and I share the same birthday but I lost her back in December. Went here to celebrate my birthday and cheers her up in Heaven. My husband told OG Nick what was going on (yes we ask for him every time) and he did it up RIGHT for us. Even brought a dessert for her with her name on it. He was training Anna who was super sweet. We even found out in talking that she is actually friends with our DIL...small world but AWESOME experience.

Yes! Go! The Refuge Filet is one of the best steaks I've had. Short rib poppers mild but good flavor. Enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and mild gouda Mac and cheese. Did not know it came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Great way to finish off our anniversary dinner with bread pudding. Wonderful display. I'm now a lightweight, so I barely noticed my Escape catching up with me it was so smooth. Hubby enjoyed the Texas flight minus my few sips. The 2 I tried were amazing! I'd be remiss not to mention our amazing just right attentive server, Eric. We hit right at about 5 but any later I'd suggest reservations to be on the safe side. If wasn't so breezy we might have enjoyed an outdoor table with the musician playing.

This was a delicious meal with our family ...their first time. Our server, Nick, made excellent recommendations for both food and cocktails! I recommend the sweet chili Brussels, lemon asparagus risotto, espresso rubbed beef tips and the sazerac! Enjoy!!

This is by far the best restaurant in all of the Houston area. Nothing compares to the overall experience. The waitstaff are all very attentive. management is spot on monitoring all tables for anything out of place. All are willing to help and to serve. The food is excellent, as is the drink selection. Will keep coming back here for all future special occasions.

Everything was cooked & crafted perfectly, and the waitstaff was super attentive.HIGHLIGHTS:- The Coffee Rubbed Beef Brochette is smoky, slightly peppery, and oh so good… Worthy of a repeat (many times over)!- The RIBEYE was EXPERTLY cooked. Temp & doneness to our liking, with that perfect char from the grill. Tender & flavorful, we enjoyed each and every fatty morsel.- And, the Sweet Chili Brussels Sprouts were a surprise hit.They really know how to do things well, here…???⭐️ 10/10 would recommend? will be back!!!

Food and service were great. 7:15 reservation. Sat at 6:50. Promptly greeted and initial drinks brought to the table. The pork belly appetizer is great. Not near as sweet as traditional pork belly. I can vouch for the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. Taste was great. Overall great eperience.
