Am always a little leery of restaurants in a strip mall, but upon entering that feeling abated. My party was seated quickly and we received excellent service. Our hostess was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. The food tasted very fresh and authentic. I ordered a chicken marsala and side of penne. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The bread served with the meal was fantastic!

We had an after-wedding dinner for our daughter a week ago Saturday evening, with just the bride and groom's siblings and parents present. The staff at Gianna went out of their way to make it a memorable event. We had our own room, the food was delicious, and the service was great. We even had the use of their projector for our "memory lane" video. Thank you, Gianna Italian Kitchen, for taking such good care of us!

On my last trip to The Southern Stand I tried 3 New menu items. I myself ordered the Burger and the Chicken Fried Steak that were both phenomenal and then I tried a bite of a friends Blackened Mahi and I am sure it was the Best piece of Fish I have ever had. I nearly ordered it for myself but I figured that 3 dinners in a single night was overkill. Or was it? Always a culinary delight to eat at The Southern Stand.

Amazing food and the owners are legit great people! The food looks exactly the same in person as it does in the photos on their website, and it tastes even better than you can imagine. This is southern style food done right, folks! I keep hoping one day to see them on the Amazing Food truck race...because they would CRUSH IT! A+++

Located off 249 in Tomball with ample free parking. Large varied menu with good prices. Professional friendly waiting staff. They were very busy and the food did take some time to make it to the table. Garlic bread was awesome. Rib eye very good. Scallps and shrimp, pasta with shrimp, outstanding asparagus soup finished with Tiarmasu and coffee made a great evening. Beware, restrooms are so cold you can see your breath. Wear your jacket to the bathroom.

Good food but quite expensive. Service good but can be a little slow when they are busy. I’m not a fan of their marinara - way too sweet in my opinion. Alfredo pretty good.
Had the shrimp and scallops with angel hair. Wonderful, fresh and cooked just perfectly. Reasonably priced, generous portion. Wish we did not live so far away!
