As a kid in McKinney tx we would get these tamales and they were so delicious and I’m 48 now and still just as good as they were back then.

I got two dozen tamales and could not find one speck of meat. I even cut it open lengthwise. It was flavored mesa that had not been steamed long enough. Very gooey.
Hands down the best coconut cream pie I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious—I’ll be back for more soon!

My wife and I stopped here today. We have lived in Fannin county all our lives just about and never knew this place was here. After reading the reviews we decided not to try the tamales only because we like traditional pork tamales but I think next time we will just to see. We bought 3 fried pies for$5 and OMG!!! People these are true homemade fried pies. Everything she has is from scratch. We will be going back next week to try the coconut cream pie and some tamales. Must try

We just stopped for first time of passing this place 100s of time . Omg the tamales are out of this world. And can hardly wait to taste the coconut pie we bought. We sat on side of road and had tamales the smell was so good we couldn't wait the drive home to Rowlett to eat some . Delicious and will be a regular stop when we pass thru going fishing .

Love this place! We get the tamales and fried pies every year. Amazing!
Don't plan on staying. It is a grab and go market. Do yourself a favor and order ahead, she will have it ready and discounts with the more product you buy. Been going here for years, no... decades. It always brings me back to the good ol' times. And you can NOT beat the flavor in those tmales. I get a minimum of 4-6 dozen every time I am in the area. Hell, I go out of my way to get there if I know she is open. God Bless Old Fashioned Tamales and Pies.... and please don't get me started on the pies!!!
Kid-friendliness: Bring them in! Show them what a real small business is all about!
Wheelchair accessibility: Yup. All shapes and sizes welcomed here.

The tamales were very good, the pies were good but just a little high in price, and when we got home we noticed we only got one dozen of our tamale order but it was corrected and she discounted us on the CC charge which was very nice of the owner.

This is an amazing family owned and operated business. The tamales are absolutely the best i have ever had NO THEY ARE NOT YOUR TRADITIONAL TAMALES, All though they have great flavor and are super moist unlike most places that are very bland and
