They say to never eat at a BBQ joint unless you smell the smoke… well this place sports several of their own custom made smokers attached to the side of the restaurant. You can watch the pit masters at work through the line (usually going out the door) to place your meat order. They offer all the usual choices. I regret that I didn’t have room for the Texas Twinky, but they were so tempting. I had the brisket that I believe is considered mandatory in Texas and it didn’t disappoint. It was pulled from the parchment where it had been resting, right in front of me. Tender and moist. Enthusiasts know this is the toughest meat to get right. The house made jalapeño sausage was no slacker either. After you make your meat selection, you proceed down the line to the side offerings which consist of pinto beans, green beans, expertly seasoned fried okra and more. The desserts are not forlorn afterthought - help yourself to the Nana puddin’, peach cobbler and ice cream. Yes please. I’ll be back.

I was visiting from STL and let me tell you… I would fly to this restaurant just to eat dinner and then fly back home. This is the best BBQ I’ve ever tasted. PRIME brisket cooked to perfection. Texas Twinkie, simply delicious. Sides were above average but not amazing like the meat. Also, free unlimited dessert?! I love Texas.

Be warned that this place will ruined your perspective on what good BBQ tastes like. You will leave a changed man/woman. 😁

Just ate for the first time at this well-established BBQ place. Lines out the door, but plenty of seating- 2 floors plus outdoor. Was gratified to have an excellent customer experience right from ordering meat- explained my options and then gave further options when I selected brisket. Like the Starbucks of meat, but with better attitudes and much better smelling (I'm a carnivore, so the BBQ aroma much better than bean water for me.). They have an allergen menu for the sides, small. What has dairy. What has bacon. What has gluten. A worker was able to grab a Mac n cheese with no bacon for me. It was fantastic. Then of course there is free ice cream and dessert on both floors- today it was peach cobbler. Only atmosphere note, since the decor and seating is all metal and wood, it is very loud given the amount of people there at any given time. Food - had the brisket and it was delicious. Sauce is a bit too sweet for my preference but has good flavor. Mac n cheese was creamy and good. Coleslaw was thankfully not watery, had good flavor and the slaw still had a nice crunch. For once, I didn't need to salt it. Good food overall and would go again. Lots of variety and they do have a kids menu with chicken nuggets or corn dogs if you have picky eaters. You can also skip meat and just go for sides if you're a vegetarian. Would definitely go again.

When i arrived this joint was packed. Even though it was packed we went through the line quickly and were served really well. And the food, i mean the FOOD was amazing. That texas twinky had my eyes rolling back like a middle aged woman reading a smut book, while her husband is also doing house chores. In full bliss homie. The brisket was so tender and juicy. The sauce. The mac n cheese!!! I dont even like sausage but yalls was delicious. It was pricey but honestly worth every penny. I can literally taste the love yall put into your food. Please dont change a frikin thing. Even got complimentary deserts!!! This place is crazy good.

I came from Baltimore to Texas for work. Everyone of my uber drivers recommended this place. Snap your knees and call your mama, this is the best dang on BBQ I have ever had in my entire life! That Brisket was so damn good i was savoring those flavors for later!! Make sure you guys buy yourself a Togo order as well because you will crave this place in your sleep!!

Staff is undervalued compared to product, some were outgoing, others were underwhelming. Seating is crazy but the cafeteria-BBQ vibe is something, try the mac and cheese.

I've been meaning to try this. For reference I like Feed Store BBQ alright and I prefer Hard8....well...used to prefer until today! The entire eating experience is excellent. Parking is doable even in a F350long bed on a Tuesday during lunch rush. The staff is very attentive to keep the dining areas clean. Both community picnic tables (inside) and 6 top tables. A lot of folks dashing in for lunch during the work day. I came with two kiddos (they ate brisket and sides, but there is a corn dog option but you have to ask). The complimentary desserts were a hit. I don't normally like banana pudding, but the portion I had today was tasty! We're active duty military and they saw my ID and offered a discount.

BBQ is on point. The sides are delicious. The desserts are free. What's not to love?
You can put multiple sides in the same container and you only get charged once for the container. This is a good way to sample multiple items. The banana pudding, peach cobbler, and ice cream are free in the dining area, so leave room for that. There are dining room staff that make sure to clear tables, answer questions, and keep the area in order. This was a welcome surprise for a BBQ place!

This place was amazing 🤩. We tried their brisket and smoked turkey. Melt in your mouth, wonderful flavor. Amazing verity of sides. A little pricey but worth it. The seating was hard to find cause they were busy but again awesome.
