This is our go to for lunch after church on Sunday. A short trip from Abilene and we'll worth it. Can't find a better selection of home cooked food. The owners and staff are awesome! You won't be disappointed.

We had reservations for Father’s Day lunch but they let people eat before us without reservations and there was no food left for us. Very disappointing... won’t be back.

We live in abilene took a 20 minute drive to get there and we didn't have a reservation. Told us to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a table and all the reservations to clear out. Went back in 15 minutes later the guy didn't even recognize us and asked if we had a reservation told him no that we were the people with 4 he said OK let's see what we can do. He waited on a few tables came back and turned us away because they didn't have enough food. Over half the tables were empty. Not very good customer service they could of told us before we had to wait the 15 minutes. Been there before they do have really good food just not great customer service. Not going back anytime soon.

A little out of the way, but well worth it. Plenty of home-style food choices and company. Our server graciously showed us the ropes and explained the choices ahead of us. There was a small gift shop with t-shirts and other small gifts by the guest sign in book. We had time after our Sunday brunch to enjoy the nature walk outside the farmhouse. I am positive we will return!
