The first time I went to Shirley’s was back in 2012. This was my first time experiencing Kolaches. I was in love at the first bite. It was the best thing I had ever eaten. The donuts was great also. Everything I ate was so fresh, and amazing. Shirley’s had made me a Kolaches snob because every one I’ve tried throughout the years I’ve said it’s no where near as good as Shirley’s. I messaged them super last minute about getting birthday donuts for my son and they were so great. So easy to work with and easily have the best donuts I’ve eaten while living in Abilene. Worth the drive out to Tuscola.

We come here too often! Their blueberry cake donut has become an all time favorite of mine and that says a lot since I'm usually a plain glazed kinda gal! Having a donut shop in Tuscola is so nice especially if you're living in the area and don't want to drive all the way into Abilene. It's always clean inside and the staff are so kind! They also offer Chinese food after 12, but we have yet to try it.
