One hour before closing and the staff was AMAZING! We were passing through and starving! I wasn’t expecting such exceptional hospitality! The food and drinks were still fresh! The floor and restrooms were so clean! The team of 3 did not make us feel like a bother! Please build one in north Houston(Humble, Tx.) I will stop the next time I’m in Tyler! Keep up the good work and protect the restaurant and staff at all costs🫶🏽

The first time I went to this place, the brisket wasn’t good. I decided to go back a second time to see if my luck would change. Today, I got brisket and ribs with the same result, not good at all, tasted boiled and no smoke flavor. I will not be going back.

My daughter placed online order for me because I had surgery and couldn't drive I live 10 minutes from restaurant when she got back ribs where so dried out I couldn't not eat they told me they couldn't do anything about it because I didn't call last night even though they were closed by then which is terrible because the whole ticket was $37.07

I always get pretty sliced brisket and make sandwiches for a couple of days out of 1 pound. This time is was just big chunks of fat and the ends that should have been trimmed. We went through the drive thru so they gave me the scraps.

DONT DO IT! The bbq is not worth it, its tasteless and made my stomach hurt. The price was way to high, food was gross and atmosphere was dead! At least I can bring it home to my dogs, go to Rudy's instead!

Absolutely THE WORST BBQ i have ever had but the worst food I've ever had in Texas. The turkey was processed and rubber like, beans were tasteless and had no flavor and the gal that took out order was rude and not hospitable at all. Needless to say, we will NOT return. No reason too. If you want great BBQ go to Rudy's you wont be disappointed!

Went through drive thru got sausage instead of chopped brisket. I ordered brisket they had it as sausage. I don't eat sausage because of heartburn. Called as soon as I noticed it when I got home. They advised me since they had it as sausage and that's what I got then it was right. I didn't get a receipt or a review of my order. Needless to say not to happy but its ok. Bodacious you have lost a long time customer from the days from Green Acres shopping center.
Mac n cheese has no flavor also guys.

I stopped by Bodacious BBQ recently and asked about the type of bread used for the sloppy joe, specifically if they had ever offered Hawaiian roll buns. The staff member I spoke with was dismissive and repeatedly told me “we ain’t never had that” in a way that felt rude, as though I didn’t know what I was talking about. When I brought it up with the owner’s daughter, she brushed it off as not being rude—which felt like just her opinion instead of acknowledging my concern.
I wasn’t upset about whether or not they had the bun—it’s fine to just say “no, we don’t carry that.” What bothered me was the attitude and the lack of courtesy. A simple “no, we don’t offer that” would’ve been enough. Unfortunately, the way it was handled left me feeling disrespected and not valued as a customer.
