Brunos is neither the first nor the last Italian place I'd eat at. It's perfectly acceptable. Good food, average environment. Nothing I'd bring guests to the area in raving about how it's the best place ever, but for a family of locals on a Friday night. Great. A wonderful way to support local. Not anything innovative. But who goes to Italian restaurants to be surprised?

Best pizza in Tyler, TX. I prefer the original Bruno’s location and that is where I usually dine. We had 2 different pizzas and both were excellent. Highly recommend their house salad with creamy Italian to start. Simple but super fresh. One added plus here is it is BYOB so bring you favorite wine or beer to enjoy with your pizza.

38yrs of eating here and I just got the worst sandwich I've ever had. Meatballs have shrunk, add-on toppings may as well have been the main ingredient, along with the other toppings I didn't ask for. Sad
