Cantina Laredo Tyler Tx

Went in last night around 6:45, was seated instantly. Waited 20 minutes, watched the servers help everyone around us, but not us. I'm a pretty large fellow, so I'm hard to miss, no one gave us a second look. Got up and walked out. Oh, and this was our first time in.

Done with this place and I kinda mad that I have to be done with this place!! The food is good but Their margarita machine stays broken and the service is awful.

Loved the food, the service and it was not noisy like a lot of Mexican restraunts. Great place for special occasions!

I went into the bar this afternoon at about 5:15 to place an order to go. I was the only person in the restaurant. I asked the bartender, who by the way, could not have been nicer, if they served a certain wine by the glass. I was told yes. It’s a $24 a bottle wine at the grocery store. It was a red wine. It had obviously gone bad. I notified the bartender and asked for a fresh glass. When I got my bill, I was charged $18.25 for the glass. I was then told it’s a wine they normally don’t serve by the glass. I won’t make that mistake again. As I left at around 5:45 on a Saturday, I was still the only person in the restaurant. Is there a message here?

My husband and I are in often and we love the drinks and the older female bartender. However the manager Matthew is disgusting. The way he treats his staff and stares at the women is unprofessional, rude, and creepy. If we see him in the restaurant we steer clear because he gives me the creeps, and I’ve seen him harass our servers several times. As a former server his attitude and ego annoy me endlessly. We’d enjoy our visits a lot more if he wasn’t there ever ??‍♀️.

We moved here recently and were so happy to have a CL close by, as it was always a favorite in our home town. We were seated and received our drinks in a timely manner and gave our order. After 40 minutes we did not even receive our queso, even after reminding our server, and never received requested soda/water refills. Even after requesting a check for our sodas so we could go elsewhere there was zero acknowledgement, much less an apology, that we were leaving and hadn't received anything. It was not busy, and even if it had been where was the manager running food and making sure drinks were filled? Walking the floor and asking when people are just sitting there with empty glasses and no plates? It’s the only reason you are there. Will definitely not be returning.

This restaurant was exceptional. I loved it so much. I believe her name was Niah. She was an amazing waitress and helped us pick out some items on the menu. I really enjoyed the tacos. It was crafted to perfection. I can’t wait to come back and usually I don’t get excited to go back to a restaurant. But this is different. Thank you to the staff here. I will be back soon!

Moved here from Dallas was excited to find one of our favorite restaurants in Tyler. Same great quality food and excellent service.

Waited an hour and 20 minutes for them to forget to place our order. Then when they finally did they place our order they were out of ingredients. When I just asked my ticket so that we could leave the staff was quite loud about their smart comments. Will not be returning.

My husband and I ? Mexican food and we are always on the hunt for the next place to try. Cantina Laredo has your typical menu items but reimagined with quality ingredients. The salsa is a perfect example. It's awesome, has a smoky and spicy flavor but isn't the typical red color. The queso with beef is a must before hand. And if Emily is working, you'll not only have a great meal but your service will be next level.

Unfortunately, the manager is inconsistent when it comes to so called “company policies” regarding ‘strollers’. We have ate at this restaurant numerous times with our baby in a secure Doona stroller, and have even sat across from another couple dining in the restaurant with an infant in a Doona stroller. For some reason, he picks and chooses when to enforce the so called “policy”, and tonight we were asked to place our baby whom was securely locked in a Doona car seat/stroller, secure to the ground, into a pvc pipe sling elevated off of the ground that could easily be knocked over, how are these safer?…The manager does not confront the party regarding this issue and utilizes the hostess to inform patrons of such news after we are seated with chips and salsa. The establishment does not seem family friendly.

Karder was our server and man was he silly! He kept up with us before we needed to ask for anything and he had really good table management between his 7 tables! He really knew his menu and helped us decide between 2 dished by combining them! Food was absolutely perfect! The only thing bad was the gentlemen with the tattoo sleeve brought out our food with a negative attitude and didn't acknowledge our gratitude. Besides that, definitely will be going back!
