Best authentic Mexican food I have found in Tyler so far! This is not your typical Tex Mex infusion that is found throughout Texas, this place offers you a piece of Mexico for those in love with Mexican cuisine . This gem is conveniently near downtown with plenty of parking for the size of this location which is very convenient for larger cars. The restaurant is vibrant in color and makes you feel at home! Service was super helpful and friendly. The young lady serving me answered any menu questions I had and offered great substitution options. Price was very reasonable for the quality and portions that were served. I ordered a red enchilada plate , al pastor and carne asada taco . My enchiladas were cooked perfectly and rice and beans definitely tasted home made style! Tacos were fresh and the unexpected hand made tortillas added the perfect addition to my taco! Their green sauce was mild and red sauce is hot , but both are very flavorful and textured perfectly. I highly recommend calling your order in advance if you know the menu whether you decide to eat in or take out because it saves time . If you're not in a rush be prepared to wait minimum 15 minutes for your meal to be freshly cooked. (Worth every minute) My agua Fresca ( melon) was the real deal ! Delicious. I'll definitely be back during my stay in Tyler to try more of their different dishes on the menu!

Delicious, no-nonsense food. Order and pay at counter. They didn't come around to refill water. Beverages are bottles unless you get tap water. No salsa was served with the small bowl of chips, but that didn't matter to me. 3 young children were able to split the tex quesadilla. Lunch steak fajita was delicious and perfect size. Nice for a quiet atmosphere to eat lunch. The staff was friendly.
I’m ashamed. I live in walking distance and this is the first time I’ve been. I have been depriving myself of a good time for a long time. The tacos were delicious, the rice had the best flavor, and the Watermelon agua fresca made my soul smile… needless to say I’m walking back over there tomorrow!!!!
